Can you afford a top end overhaul every 50 miles?
Advantages: It has a nice filler cap which avoids spills when filling up your bike with oil. Disadvantages: Can`t compete wih Shell`s cheaper alternatives. My sylinder was scored thanks to this oil
...and blended it with 3% Castrol TTS so the engine should run much richer than when it was raining so I am allmost positive that the reason to why my engine broke down was caused by this low quality oil.
I have been told later by a Ducati dealer (this man owns 6 KTM 2 strokes) that the Castrol TTS is bad stuff, and he only runs his bikes on Shell Racing X in worst case scenario the Ultra 2 which he told me he never had any problems with.
And I have ... ...MX factory team that the Castrol TTS sux.
If you are going to use Castrol on your Two stroke engine you MUST use Castrol A747 which is compareable to the Shell Racing X. But way more expensive over here.
I myself will only run my bike on Shell Oils from now on... Preferably the Racing X but I would use the Shell Uttra 2 fully synthetic as an alternative if I can`t get hold of the Racing X. ...

Castrol GP motorcycle oil
Advantages: Price, availablity, brand name Disadvantages: The opening procedure
...of this oil is the package, the filler neck can be difficult to open sometimes, but I feel this should not warrent not using Castrol GP.
I now have absolute confidence in my engine oil, and for the price I think this oil is fantastic!
Thank you castrol! ...

Must have for any motorcylist
Advantages: Good value, good support, increases chain life massively, saves you hassle! Fairly easy to install Disadvantages: Fitting can sometimes be an oily and tedious job
...That's exactly what the Scottoiler does. I paid something like £75 from Hein Gericke. It was originally fitted to my Z750, by myself, in about 30 minutes (excluding routing the delivery tube down to the wheel, we'll come to this later). Included in the pack were too many things to remember, various adaptors, some very strong superglue, a tube of lube, various ways of mounting it, the tube in which the lubrication oil flows down, the little nozzle ... ...If you go to the Scottoiler website, for 99% of bikes there will be a dedicated fitting guide with a photo of what tube/screw you need to use, and where it's located. Failing that, a simple phone call to the VERY friendly people will normally set you straight. Anyway, the reservior that contains the oil is quite small, it can be mounted so it's visible but I personally prefer to keep it hidden, away from dirt and away from prying eyes. Once you've ...

Lifted - we can be lifted - li-i-fted yeah yeah
Advantages: Only needs one person to operate Disadvantages: stand paintwork can scratch easily
Reason for buying
-------------------------
My Triumph Daytona has a single sided rear swing arm, and also no centre stand, so this makes even simple tasks like oiling the chain, taking the wheel off, and even cleaning under the bike very awkward.
I bought this stand new from bikerpartsdirect (an ebay shop)for £53. plus the £7 postage. Although I have seen this sold in shops for over £60. A genuine Triumph paddock stand is priced at over £90.
... ...completely off the floor, and also allows a front paddock stand to be used to lift the front wheel. Assembly
-------------
The stand needed to be assembled when it arrived: The main body of the stand being in two pieces:- A large semi-circular section which forms the handle, and the larger section which lifts the bike into the air. Check out the picture and it will show which way the pieces fit, as there is a slight upwards curve in the handle. The ...

Castrol TTS
Advantages: Protection it offers, smell, price Disadvantages: Opening the bottle!!!
I have used Castrol TTS for many years now, I first started using Castrol TTS on my tuned two stroke scooters, the oil has always offered first class protection and was recommended to me from friends who race highly tuned motorcycles where oil is a major concern.
The first thing you will notice is the deep brown colour castrol use for the oil, then the smell after the oil has been used, it is like no other, instantly sending a whole generation of ... ...the days of RD's and X7's.
This oil retails for around £9.99 although I have seen it for as low as £5.99. Worth every penny!
If you value your two stroke engine you will know the importanceof good oil, in my opinion, this is the best oil you can buy off the shelf. ...
