More grunt than a whole sty of pigs

Advantages: Big, comfortable, everything you'd expect
Disadvantages: Heavy, expensive, needs a different riding style

There's nothing that reflects a countries character more than a motorcycle, or indeed encourages national stereotyping. Italian bikes generally look exquisite, handle magnificently but their electrics all go to pigs and whistles when it rains The J ...

Bmw k1200rs as a daily commuter

Advantages: Brilliant fuel consumption, shaft drive, inexpensive to maintain if done by self, excellent build
Disadvantages: There are better looking 10year old plus bikes out there!

I passed my direct access in March 2010 and had done a lot of research to find out what would be the best commuter for my 65 mile round trip to work and back. If you are in the same position, you might want to consider the following points: Fuel consumpti ...

BMW RT1100 v RT1150

Advantages: handling, performance, functionality
Disadvantages: Price, BMW dealerships being too busy at the moment!

So the new 1150 RT is out, with many similarities but some big differences to the 1100. I've got a 2000 RT and have tested the 1150 and confess to being impressed, but not overly. Not enough to warrant a trade in for sure! The 1100 is a great bike and ...
