(+) loads of cars, great choice, friendly helpful staff no pressure, fantastic prices. (-) can get very busy on the weekend, we had to wait to be served, best to get there early.
Advantages: Good stock turnover, very keen prices Disadvantages: Difficult to find but only at first

I must admit that I am very chosey about dealers and first impressions count. The fact that the staff were approachable and friendly but not pushy stood them in good stead in my book.
Motorhouse 2000 advertise in the usual way via local and national newspapers and magazines. The problem is that their stock changes so rapidly that adverts are often out of date by the time that they appear.None the less they do give a good indication of stock, range and prices.
My first direct contact with Motorhouse2000 was via the internet. Their website , at the expected address, is updated regularly and when you have narrowed down your list of likely vehicles a little they will send you a weekly email of the current stock position This means that before you even contemplate travelling to Cannock you can have a good idea of what you are looking for. If you arrive on site and simply want to look around no one will bother you. If you then find something that interests you the staff will provide keys so that you can inspect at your leisure They will arrange testdrives (albeit accompanied).
The stock includes both new and 'nearly new' vehicles but it is important to note a number of things about the new vehicles. Some are supplied from UK sources but others are imports. Imports are not a problem but while you will be the first user you will not be registered as the first owner. It is the equivalent of buying a pre registered car .The warranty runs from the date of FIRST registration NOT from the purchase date
After months of looking and making up my mind I eventually found exactly what I was looking for in one of the weekly emails. All that then happened was one phone call to check the details and that the car was full UK spec. A deposit was taken via debit card (there is a surcharge for credit cards). About a fortnight later I had a phone call to say that the vehicle was on site so I arranged to inspect it. All was OK but pre delivery inspection was still to be done. Motorhouse like to make specific appointments for car delivery. This gives them the chance to suggest various extras such as Gap insurance. Just say no firmly and they do not press the issue. I arrived from Cannock station by taxi at the appointed time and was given a key for final inspection. Then into the office, cup of coffee, nice chat, Debit Card again . Whitin 10 minutes after handing over the debit card I had the keys ,delivery note ,handbook etc. Registration documents were to come later from DVLA.
I reckon that the 'on the road price' that I paid saved me about £4000 compared to the Ford list price and the only difference that I can see is that my car has a two year full Ford Pan European warranty whereas the warranty on cars supplied in the UK is a 1 year Ford warranty + 2years dealer warranty. I reckon that I got a good deal and drove home in my first brand new motor with a smile the size of the Sydney harbour bridge.
One final point : at the prices offered there are no free extras included so the amount of fuel onboard on delivery is absolutely minimal so make sure that you take some extra pennies for fuel. Fortunately there is a garage at the end f the road but do make sure that you know how to open the fuel flap before you leave Motorhouse
Advantages: Many cars and models to select from, great choice and well laid out display Disadvantages: Sales personel arent too helpful, test rides not available
In a nutshell - yes it is!
there are such a wide variety of cars to select from, from top the range Mercedes to Base model Fiesta's
In my opinion this is the place to look for a nearly new car as it has such a range and even if you were to draw up a shortlist of 4 or 5 cars you wanted to see, you could guarantee that they would be in stock and that you would be able to view them all within a couple of hours.
the only disadvantage i found was that ... ...permitted one, I'm not sure of this is because I'm only 22 and i was buying a 2002 reg 5 month old Renault Megane 1.4 Dynamique, i wasn't going to steal it as i had said i would leave my bank card with him and my dad was there with me, so not sure what the reason was there?
Anyway, the model i brought was the one i wanted, it was in very good condition with the only damage visible being to the gearstick knob (however this was replaceable and i was ...

Advantages: Really cheap car Disadvantages: Not very good support
...I got it. At Motorhouse 2000 I drove in one day spent an hour looked at the hundreds of cars available and chose the car I wanted. I test drove the car and said I'd buy it. One week later I returned to a fully valeted car ready to be driven away in and out in twenty minutes. The car was 6 months old and would have been £13950 were it new, I got it for well under £8000 - that seems to me like a good deal, mileage was only 8 thousand.
The salesmen ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Don't stick to their work
I took my car, and it's registration certificate to Motorhouse, because I'd bought from them before. The salesman examined the documents, performed the vehicle check and made me an offer, which I accepted. My old car had personalised plates, and when they were removed the salesman discovered he'd misunderstood the V5 document. In the next three weeks I received three letters threatening to take me to court if I didn't pay for their mistake. I had ... ...start again as I couldn't afford any extra. They refused and insisted on more money off me. I agreed, and within four days had another letter threatening court action. I have used my holiday money to pay them off, because I can't afford a solicitor to fight them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY WANT YOUR CASH AND DON'T CARE HOW THEY GET IT. ...

...car this month from Motorhouse - the deposit was paid via the internet and the salesman kept in contact via telephone.
Although there was some descrepency involved initially (it was never fully explained) and ultimately they sent us a new invoice with a new chassis number several weeks after the order (then explained that original car would be longer wait).
Our car arrived 8 weeks after deposit paid.
The original car we were purchasing is now ... ...paid which has made me suspicious.
The part exchange price for our old car was given by telephone (subject to viewing). There is a collection appointment system is in place, which is ok, although little choice of days and times was offered.
When collected the car the px was viewed while we were left waiting in reception. I was made to feel like a criminal when the valuer returned 25mins later.! They found many faults and reduced the p/x price by ...

route - opting to buy a carefully selected import. This time I tried hard to find a good reason or two not to do the same but I could not.
I visited 2 Ford dealers but never managed to see a salesman for more than a minute before the phone rang and they left me standing there like a lemon. So I checked out the What Car best price from a dealer for the model we wanted and saw that the list price of £11,495, with the metallic paint we wanted, would be unlikely to fall below £10,500 if we were lucky / pushy and very patient.
So I surfed around the internet and came up with a car and a price that I could not resist. The best prices I found were at Motorhouse2000Ltd in Cannock and Trade Sales of Slough . I paid £9100 for the exact car I wanted in the colour my wife had specified (only joking) - saving over £2400 against the list price ...
