I took my car, and it's registration certificate to Motorhouse, because I'd bought from them before. The salesman examined the documents, performed the vehicle check and made me an offer, which I accepted. My old car had personalised plates, and when they were removed the salesman discovered he'd misunderstood the V5 document. In the next three weeks I received three letters threatening to take me to court if I didn't pay for their mistake. I had several phone conversations, and offered to cancel the deal and start again as I couldn't afford any extra. They refused and insisted on more money off me. I agreed, and within four days had another letter threatening court action. I have used my holiday money to pay them off, because I can't afford a solicitor to fight them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY WANT YOUR CASH AND DON'T CARE HOW THEY GET IT.
(+) loads of cars, great choice, friendly helpful staff no pressure, fantastic prices. (-) can get very busy on the weekend, we had to wait to be served, best to get there early.
