I brought this for for the Reason that it had a built in Video Recorder and Camera. I wasn't willing to spend that much on it, i ended up splashing out £74.95 on it from the link. I didn't care about the size, i realised it would be big, it is a Video Recorder though isn't it. It was a big change to the Nokia 3410. When i know pick up The Nokia 3410 it makes me realise how big my new phone is, it is like double the size and weight. Qualities I brought this phone for it's list of outstanding qualities, the main two of which are the Video Recorder and the camera. The quality of the Video Recorder varys every day for some reason, 1 day it could be clear and easy to record, the next it would be all fuzy. I noticed
this happening on more than a few occasions now. The quality of the Camera is far better, it has had a clear picture since i brought it. Another feature i found intersting was the video calling. If you have seen the Muller Yougurt advert you will know what i am talking about. The thing that puts me off using this feature most though is the fact that it cost 50p a minute. It might not sound expensive but check out the Top-up part below. The phone also has Bluetooth but can't accept a Bluetooth Headset. What it can do though is recieve any kind of message for free from another phone with the same compatabilities eg. Nokia n-gage. Both the Bluetooth's have to be turned on to make this possible and you have to be within a meter of each other. As i said earlier you can send anything, normal messages, Photos, Videos and even Ringtones. Sounds a posh phone until you read on.
Disadvantages It is a Brick. Simple. It is bigger than my home phone (cordless). The size of it is amazing for the wrong reason. It hardly fits in your pocket. You feel a bit embarressed when you are holding it to your ear and speaking into it. The exact size of the phone is 13.5 CM Long and 5.3 CM Across. Put that up to a 15 CM Ruler and it is nearly as big as that. Also, because the phone is only availible on 3pay you have to top up via 3pay(see below). Because you get a certain amount of texts, which are regular texts this means you can't send off a text message to a number like 88614. To get new Ringtones you have to go onto the internet on the phone. The ringtones cost £2 and you get £1.50 Extra Credit each month. This means you get 2 Ringtones every 3 months as long as you don't spend your extra credit on anything else eg. Video Calling and MSM Messaging. Also i think the Joystick intead of up and down buttons is brilliant. Top-Up 3pay offers 3 top-up amounts, £15, £25 and £35 per month. You don't have to top-up each month, but if you don't the only numbers you can ring are the Emergency Services. I top-up £15 on the first day of every month, £15 gives me either 100 Voice Minutes, 0 Text Messages and £1.50 Credit or 25 Voice Calling Minutes, 100 Text Messages and £1.50 extra Credit. As i said above you can spend the extra credit on anything, even text Messages. Being a texty person i obviuosly choose the 100 text message option. I think this one is better because you also have voice minutes, you can use whatever one you want, on the 100 voice minutes you have to use Voice minutes. On £25 top-up you get either 500 voice calling minutes, 0 text messages and £1.50 Extra Credit or you can have 50 Voice Minutes, 500 Text messages and £1.50 extra Credit. On the £35 option you can choose either 750 voice calling minutes, 0 text mesages and £1.50 extra Credit or 75 voice calling Minutes, 750 text Messages and £1.50 extra credit. But after 30 days after your top-up your balnce gets 'emptied' and whatever you have left goes. So if you put in £35 and used 50 texts in 30 days you don't get the rest of the texts or voice minutes. That is perhaps the downside of being on 3pay. You're extra credit till stays though so if you keep that you can use it for texting or calling after the 30 days until you top-up again.
Conclusion Apart from it's size and options for top-up it is a brillliant phone. Even if the top-up continues until you use it up it would make the phone far better. Perfect for somebody who didn't care what people thought about his phone.

Welcome to Ciao mate! I don't like to give low ratings, but Ciao is extremely competitive. You'll have to expand on your review, write more and add more details especially. Talk more about ergonomics, quality, ease of use, durability, and other key issues. Structure it efficiently and you'll have a much better review! Stay focused, don't go off track by describing what 3pay offers and what they don't. Give it a revamp, then leave me a message and I'll change my rating aight? Yours truly,
