This was my first smartphone. I now own Galaxy S phone, but this, defy+, was my most reliable phone I've ever had. If it fell down, it didn't broke. I acually went swimming with this phone (luckily I noticed the phone and I jumped immediately out of the water, wasn't able to go swim with it) and it survived, nothing happened with it. Only thing that the gorilla glass acually haven't hold the scratches away. I still had some scratches and I needed to buy leather bag for the phone.

Now to pros and cons:

*Battery - If you have bought the phone, then, please remove the weather and news app from homescreen, or, if you can, remove it entirely from the phone. You would ask why? This was the reason why battery was drowning so fast that it didn't even survive a day without another charge. When this was removed, the phone battery was ok - and by ok I mean, the battery can last about 2-3 days on usual usage, because it's still an smartphone, and smartphones battery is drowning really fast. Even my Galaxy S phone battery can only live 2-3 days.

*Screen - As said, I did expect that the screen can't get any scratches. But still, when I put the phone to pocket and took it out, then it had new scratches (this was rare to happen, the scratches, but it did happen. The screen acually holds away more scratches then my old nokia's screen, what needed replacement because of all the scratches). Screen colours are colourful, as you would expect. The viewing angles are as good as any smartphone. You can see the screen on every angle.

*Inside tech - The phone can play any game and it have never lagged for me (I have heard that homescreen can lag so badly, you can't even take the call, but I haven't had this problem). OS is easy to use and it has alot of apps. It has enough memory (inside the phone) for me to play my games. It also includes 2GB SD card if you buy the phone, so thats also very good to have. For me, the system haven't let me down an single time, no lag, no calling to someone for no reason, no texting to my contacts while it's on my pocket (the texting thing happened with my Galaxy S, and I still can't get how the phone did it).

*Camera - The camera is 5MP and has flash. Oh, I love when phone has flash, makes the phone more functional. Pictures are very clear, but it seems like it lacks little bit of dark colours (hard to explain, nothing to really worry about), camera isn't 720p but still records videos in pretty good quality. Focus is stunning, it can make picture very close to the item.

Any disadvantages?

*Battery may be an disadvantage, but like I said, it's an smartphone and all the smartphones have small battery life.

*GPS - Yes, it do have some connection probles in time to time. Has even showed, me in wrong city - that was the most hilarious problem the phone has had.

I can recommend this, Defy+ phone to anybody, who often drop their phone and wants phone that isn't very expensive, but can do all the things what the hi-end phones can do. This is an excellent phone for everybody.
