The Motorola v2288 is a good phone but i think it is copying Nokia's range of models.
The Motorola v2288 is the first phone from Motorola with rubber facias.
the phone is good for value.
it has many good functions that previous Motorola's did not.
This time it has WAP (Wireless application Protocol)
It has Changable covers.
i would reccomend Motorola for people who are looking to buy their first mobile telephone.
They are not better that nokia's but that is meant to be.
Nokias offer more services than Motorola's do.
For example: - Games, Chat, Calculators and more.
I recommend you get your phone from either THE LINK or THE WAP STORE.
Use the pre pay tariff.
it is Cheaper than a contract phone....

Advantages: Nice, slim design that fits easily into pockets! Disadvantages: Hardly any improvements in this model than other older motorolas
...I upgraded my phone from the motorola 500 to the motorola v3.Although the v3 had a more sleek and slimline design which earned it brownie points, I soon realised that there was little other improvements. Video files could be stored but at an additional cost, the software had to be upgraded to allow video capture. The features were near identical to the motorola 500 and the difference in price was huge. I also found that the battery life on the motorola v3 was very poor in comparison to other models and was frequently having to charge it.I therefore believe that the v3 is not worth anywhere near what people are paying and I would not reccommend this phone to anyone....
