Advantages cheap, great reception

Disadvantages old brick

This opinion is about the motorola m3788. A BRICK!! this is one of the oldest phones on the market and is not sold in many places due to its age. Over 3 years since it came out wow!

Ok so some of the features;

PHONE BOOK-
Capacity- unusual to phones of this age this phone actualy has a 100 name and number memory which is great it is old but not past it.

personal numbers- thi is were you can search through your name and numbers saved in your phone book. You can find an entry by name,location- whenever you add a name to your phone book it is given a location which is a 2 digit number which you can use to go straight to that number. You can also add an entry which you will be given a location for also.

show services- this will show you all of T-mobile's (one 2 one when this phone was bought) phone numbers such as customer services,directory enquirories etc. Some phones even modern ones dont do this and i beleive it is essential.

last ten calls- you can check the last ten numbers called. Do you suspect your girlfriend/boyfriend is cheating on you? if they had this phone you could tell who he has called. This works vice versa also.
my phone numbers- this gives you 4 spaces to put in your phone numbers. number one is automaticaly your mobile number but you can put whatever you want for the rest. not many phones have this yeah you can find out your mobile number but what if you end up in an accident and your phone survives if you had this phone your parents/partner could be contacted.

CALL RELATED FEATURES;

one of the two call relate features is an old style battery meter. When you have this phone you have a small icon in the top right corner of your screen showing you your battery life all of the time but if you need a better view of exactly how much is left this is what you need to use. To me it is absolutely pointless!!

the other is call diverting. Unlike all of the new models of every phone this one only has two call diverting options; divert voice calls and cancel all diverting. I personally have it on divert voice calls because the voicemail is free to retreive so why waste it!!!

MESSAGES;

Im not going to go into too much detail about sms messaging as many of you are bored of reading reveiws that tell you every snippet of information just to make their reveiw look longer ( i know because im one of you! But i will tell you small amount.

sms- short messaging service text messages to everyone!

160 characters- most of letters/spaces you can use

inbox- were any sms messages you receive go until you delete them

outbox- were if you decide to save a message that you are sending to someone it will go there

PHONE SETUP;

Adjust ring volume. Personally i always have this on maximum as i hate having my phone in my pocket and not realising someone has phoned you until about three hours later! Most new phones have vivbrating call alert which eliminates the problems.

ringer on or off. This is not reccomended the phone will not beep descreetly nor will it vibrate it will just flash.
