I love this phone, it is small, looks fantastic and has decent sized keys. The phone is not that heavy and is a much better size than the V3's. I really like the colour but I find myself constantly wiping my fingerprints off it.
The sound quality and adjustable screen size on video downloads is incredable. The 2 mega pixel camara makes your own pictures look great too. The phone can be heavily personalised to what you use most using the navigational keypad and short cut buttons to your own advantage.
Once you get past the intial networks menu it reverts back to the old motorola menu which I have felt has always let itself down. The menus are complicated and really not user friendly at all unless you have owned a motorola before. The predictive text of other manufacturers is much easier to use and I think the 'select' and 'back' buttons are on the wrong side as I seem to always kick myself out of what ever I was doing instead of sending or saving. To try and find profiles, which by the way is known as 'Personlise' and the 'Ring Styles' was both annoying and frustrating.
I am very pleased that motorola have vastly improved the internal antenna and the reception on the new KRZAR is much better. They also seem to resolved the constantly switching itself off thing which really bugged me about the V3i. Despite software issues, like switching itself off and poor signal quality that hampered previous motorola models, this phone seems to be manufactured and built with alot more quality and attention to detail.
My absolute favourite feature of this phone is the voice recognition. So many other manufactures have voice dialling but the Motorola software is like nothing I have seen or used before. A lot of people I have met and shown this, were not even aware that this phone (and the V3i and V3x) does not need you to sit and record the contacts you most use. By pressing the answer key on your bluetooth headset or the right soft key you can just speak to your phone. The KRZAR software for this is much improved on the V3i/x in regards to the way it works. All you do is push the button and a voice says 'Say command', you can the speak the number you want to dial and it does it! eg you say 'dial 07900000000' or any name in your phone book! and I mean any name without spending hours pre-programming it. You can even use a command called 'Check status' and the phone will tell you how good your battery is and signal strength. It also can take you to the menu, camara and various other phone features. Absolutley brilliant! I definately recommend you give it a go.
I have not included all the techie information because you can get it from anywhere. This is my personal experience with the phone. I would highly recommend giving it a go. I have always been a Sony Ericsson user and really did not like Motorola phones but this phone has definately changed my mind. I love it.

good review I have been thinking of getting one of these phones for a while now, and from the sounds of it they are a good phone, I'm going to read a few more reviews on it first though, to see what everything else thinks. But yeah good review.

A friend has just bought this and it looks fantastic. I'm so used to Nokia menus though, not sure how I'd get one with a change! :)
