Advantages: Plenty of Scope for improvement
Disadvantages: You can't get one for a P.C. - shame

...In recent trials the Motorola G4 Processor for Mac (running at 450 Mhz) out performed a P.C. running 2 thats....... TWO 1Gig Mhz Pentium III processors. I don't understand why P.C. owners are son fixated with Mhz - I suppose they need to run DOS so that Windows will RUN or is that crawl. C:/> CISC - Complex Instruction Set Computing = 30 - 40 time more code to process than an equivelent RISC Processor Reduced Instruction Set Computing Go Figure And 1 Gig Mhz is coming soon. Advantages: Excellent DVD quality, ideal for long jouneys!
Disadvantages: Quite expensive.

...This laptop is one of a kind at 1 inch thick, damn apple have made a good job of it too. This dream machine comes in two different ways, one with 400 mhz and the other with 500mhz, there's one problem though the 500 mhz laptop is alot more than the 400 mhz, about £600 difference.The machine comes at quite a hefty price being around £1900, but prices may depend on the shop, the 500 mhz is around £2500 but has a bigger disk drive and more memory.The Titanium powerbook G4 can play DVD's at great quality on a sceen just a centimetre thick! ...Now - you must be wondering why you should buy a laptop for more than 2000 pounds with a chip speed of 667Mhz. Well - the answer is in the "G4" bit of the name. The Motorola G4 processor is the first processor to achieve preformance of more than 1 gigaflop sustained (1 billion floating point operations per second) - so it is technically a supercomputer. There are two flavours - 550Mhz and 667Mhz. Apart from the usual increase in RAM and HD, the 667 has a 133Mhz main bus as compared to 100 on the low end. As for shared specs, they really are quite juicy, sporting radeon graphics, DVD/CDRW slot-loading combo drives and a wonderful 15" widescreen display that is wonderful for DVD movies.
