I have had this phone for a year so it can be used for people only keeping this phone a short time or a longer period. I recommend this phone for up to a year maybe year and a half but not really any longer than that. In the past year I have had to send my phone back once but I normally can live with little problems so read on and see what you think.
Good points the phone has a big screen that you can see clearly, once you have played around with the phone it is easy to use and easy to understand, there is a message button so you don't have to go into the menu to sort out your messages just press the button, you can change you phone from silent to loud or ring and vibrate from the buttons on the side of the phone without opening it, or if someone is ringing you and you want to stop it ringing without cutting them off because your dodging calls you just press a button the side of the phone without opening it and waa hay call dodged. You can set a number of alarms and set them all up to go off every day. I have found good signal where ever I have gone so far but that is also my area and the fact that I am on t mobile, can download things off other people
mobiles and set any wall paper and ring tone you want. It has a small area that you can thread through a phone strap or phone jewellery which I have found very useful, I drop my phone a lot and my phone strap works wonders. Flicking open the phone answers a call and flicking it closed cancels one I have found this very useful as never have to worry that I have ended the call and there is a risk of the person still being at the other end. As it is a flip I have never rung anyone by accident. It comes with a memory card that can just be plugged into some printers and computers so that you can get the picture's easily and it also comes with a disk that is quite easy to install, if you have installed other things before, the disk will load a picture of your phone on your computer and you can transfer stuff from the internet or the computer to your phone and vice versa and also there is a feature so you can mess about with the pictures or ring tones so instead of getting bits of stuff that you don’t won’t you can cut them out or if you want to change the size of the picture you can do that as well. After receiving a call or text message if you have missed it and didn’t know that it did it every couple of minutes it will do a loud beep to tell you that you have an unread message or unanswered call great for me although if I forgot and wonder out of the room not so good for anyone else cause no one else is aloud to check it and it will never stop beeping till you read your message or check your missed calls.
Bad points, using hands free is a nightmare because even through you speak into it to let it get set up with your voice it doesn't actually use anything you have said and to start using it you need to say outgoing call (or something haven't used that feature in a while) and 9 out of 10 times it won't understand you, that is just trying to get to where you ask for someone to call, again it hardly ever understands a name, it can get a number more easily if you can remember the person's number. If you are terrible and drop your phone a lot like me the back and the battery always come off and a couple of times I have lost the battery and had it replaced, the back bit is only small and held on by a small bit of metal which broke after I dropped it once and it hasn't had a back since but without it, the battery stays in unless you drop it of course. There is a small button in the centre of some of the arrows which originally had a small circle in it but that came off and now it is white but that is only for aesthetics anyway and doesn't make any difference to how you use it. There is no locking function so if you have young kids who like to mess with it they there is a chance they can ring someone or as my friends two kids usually manage connect to the internet. The numbers are flat which looks really nice and sexy but if you are a quick texter like me and don't tend to look at the phone you will find you make a lot more mistakes. On the front screen there is a small M which lights up when you open the phone but on the first one I had the M flickers ever so slightly all the time causing the phone to run out of battery more quickly and after a while the one it was replaced with did the same thing. There were two little pads so that when the phone closed it the two bits didn’t bang together but they came off fairly quickly and now I do have a small mark on the centre of the screen but it isn’t really that big a deal as you can’t notice if you have something on your wallpaper.
Both bad and good points in one, it has a lot of information on it that you don't really need and when you are first going through the phone can get a bit confusing but it is all stored under settings and you can tend to leave it alone. It has a camera on it not one of the best i have seen and no flash but it can take a nice photo if you get it right. When you are looking at your calls received and calls dialled it shows you a tick next to them to show which ones have connected and which haven’t but it doesn’t have a actually missed calls section but when you do miss a call it does show your missed calls in the box.
