I bought this phone originally because I decided to try out a flip phone. My old Eriksson was ok but if the phone was not locked, it would make calls to your last number without you realizing it..
Having a flip phone definitely sorts that problem out!
I also opted for the Razr because it is quad band which is great if you travel alot for work, which I do, also the Bluetooth function is particularly good for when you are on the go...I use mine every day.
The numbers on the keypad are a great size which also makes texting a lot easier. No more fumbling around with miniture size keypads.
I find the external display handy as it has a digital clock (old style clock on the main screen is also very cool) and also for seeing who is calling....and you can also set it up so you see a photo of the person ringing..(I like this feature myself) The screen is a fantastic size, photo's turn out very crisp and clear and receiving photo's on mms also provides very clear images. The reception on this phone is always very strong, I have never had any drop outs.
One problem I have had with this phone is the battery life, I don't use my phone alot during the day but I have to charge it up every night otherwise it goes flat very quickly. I have even had it go flat from one 10 minute phone call. My last phone lasted days without needing a re-charge. I thought there may have been a fault with the original battery so i went out and bought a brand new one only to have the same problem....Not sure if anyone else has this problem but I find it a bit of a pain.
The product manual is ok..a bit long and I found it quicker to work out the phones functions just by sitting and playing around with it for half an hour.
Overall I have found the Razr to be a good phone but in my opinion, I still find Nokia phones to be better, more reliable and problem free but I would still stick with a flip phone...I really like it.

I've had a V3 almost a year, and only need to recharge it every 4-5 days. You should get better battery life if you don't recharge it so often - you should let it run completely flat every now and again to extend battery life.

Sounds good, though that battery life would put me off - T
