I brought the PEBL about 1 year ago now and it was great at the start., looks very stylish and it is very easy to use, but i have found the battery life is not very good i am for ever putting it on charge.
The key pad i do like i have found it very easy to use mind i have some fingers so if you have larger fingers it may be a problem, i also like the flip open action again very easy to use,
Downloading is easy and the sound is good, also the picture quality is very good in normal light but not so good in low light, you can completly rearrange the appearence of the phone too change the the buttons so they do different things, there are 3 small buttons on the side and you can alter what they do i have mine set as 1 for
video cam 1 for camera and 1 for voice dialing but like i say you can change it to what ever you use the most so you can really make the phone unique.
The phone also features :-
Your main phone book which has a picture of a book and a telephone reciever, upon pressing this you can add your new enteries, name, phone number you can also put in if it is a work or home or mobile number each one comes up with a different picture, you also have an option to store it to your phone or to the sim card, you can also select a category to put it into eg. General, VIP, Business or personal, you can add there address and birthday and then you can select there own ringer Id which is very handy because you wil know exactly who is ringing you, you can also add a picture so when it rings there picture will come up on display.
You have a recent call category that tells you what recieved calls youve had and when they called and how long the call was for, also if you have answered the call it wil have a tick next to it, all missed calls wont. Dialled calls again this tells you who you have called, when and how long for, and if the person has recieved your call it will have a tick next to it. In this category it also gives you your total of incoming and outgoing call times.
Messages:- This has a picture of an envelope, once in this section you can either create a new message with the options of sending a normal text message a multimedia message or an email. There are a number of options with sending a new message you can instert pictures, animations, sound or just a quick note. Then select send and your address book will come up, then select which person you want to send it to,( you can also send more then one at a time) then just press send.
You can also check in this section what messages you have recieved and sent.
Tools:- thsi is where your calender, calculator, alarm clock, and videos can be found.
Media Centre:- This is where you can change the screen images, view all the photos you have taken on your phone, listen to all the sounds you have and all the videos you have shot.
Web Access:- This is on O2 picture on you main page , which you can access the web, you can store pages here and find you web history aswell.
Buetooth Link :- this where you can find which phones you have been connected to through blue tooth, you can turn it on and off here, and you can also search for other phones.
Games and apps:- I must admit the games on the phone are not very good, mine nly came with 2, Rebels and Fitness. I dont rate the very well.
Settings Menu:- Thsi is where you can really personalise your phone, from changing ring tones, wallpapers, skins, and voice dial setup.
You can set your date and time here, change your battery save options, language, brightness.
You have an option to change your car settings to anto answer or handsfree, or if you have a headset. You have all your network groups in this section and your security, eg phone locks and restricted calls and call baring and this is also where you set your pass words.
It comes with a full instruction manual which i do advise you read though.
The only other problem i have found is that it has a tendancy to turn itself off when i am in a middle of a call which is very frustrating but apart from that and the battery it is a good little phone.
When i first did this review it was one of my first, so i have added all the features about the phone i hope this is alot more helpful then before
