I used to have a Siemens A55 (free with avon orders) which worked fine and was easy to use. I tried hard not to let my phone embarrass me, but after endless ribbing at work, I decided to go for something a bit more modern. I was on a limited budget and wanted a phone on the t mobile network so I could keep my Fresh sim card, and also wanted as many up to date features as I could afford. I came across the Motorola V220, which was £35 on the Play.com website. They only had a black one, which was fine as I'm not that fussy. It arrived the very next day and I can honestly say that I have never looked back! I had been warned about Motorola phones and had also read reviews so I was a bit sceptical, but it has lived up to nearly all my expectations. It is quite bulky and robust, so you can easily find it in your pocket or handbag, which is important for a busy mum of 3. The ring tones are lovely, I love the fact that you can fold it up so that the buttons don't get accidentally pressed. The camera is perfectly ok for me as I rarely use it but it's nice that it has that feature, and it's very easy to operate. You can set the phone so that when it rings all you need to do is open it and it will automatically connect, and if you don't like that feature you can easily turn it off. There is however a small downside to this phone. I have found texting in the past on my previous Nokia and Siemens phones to be relatively straightforward, but Motorola have made it as complicated as they possibly could. The predictive text is better than any I have previously used and I find the buttons nicely laid out and very easy to operate, but if you press the wrong button and lose the text you were writing, there is no way to retrieve it and you have to start again, very frustrating. And to select who you are sending the text to takes forever. These are the only downsides I have found, and once you get used to them it doesn't really seem to be a big problem. To sum up, I think this phone is fab, and ideal for my needs, although it wouldn't suit everyone.

Some brilliant information, the only improvement I can think of (ontop of what Rich has said) is to include a little more detail on features such as battery life etc. otherwise very good. gaunty

A Good Review, it would be a bit more helpful if you line spaced your paragraphs, make it a bit easier to read. Rich
