This was my first camera phone and I have to say that this was a top quality phone for its time. It was either this phone or the VK 530, but this one had some more functions on it for a better price.

Contents of box:
  • Phone
  • Charger
  • Manual
  • Warranty

The first thing I noticed about the phone was the design. I quite liked the design, the thing for the eleven year old me. It was pink, a flip phone (the craze) and it had a camera.
The phone has basic apps and features on it. The camera is VGA (0.3 mp) and the only "music" and video you can play is the tones/videos already on the phone. You cannot transfer anything on to it. To remove images, you have to use a cable and you have to buy the software for it (there is a way to get past that if you are on Virgin). A bit irritating.

The ringtones on the phone are quite good. Nothing extremely special, but you get a selection. There is a recording function, but you can't set the recordings as your ringtones. The games on there are quite simple and take up the little meory the phone has. I deleted mine to have more space for images. The browser is basic too, but it will let you go on some websites. So the features on the phone aren't great and there aren't that many of them.

The phone seems to withstand some things like being dropped on a soft floor or from a small height, otherwise it blacks out and it refuses to charge to begin with. Eventually, it will accept the the charger and will charge like normal. The battery lasts for a while if you don't really use it, when you are in a call the battery goes down quite quickly. It's quite hormonal, sometimes it lasts for a while and other times it just dies.

The reception quality was fine and the calling and texting functions on the phone worked brilliantly with no issues so it works fine for it's proper purpose. This is a phone to get if you want something basic with some things to do on it. Good for a kids first phone as they can't do much and so they can't do as much damage with it.
