I have tried several pay-as-you-go (or pay-and-go) as they are becoming known mobile phones in the short time that they have been available, and I have to say that this is my favourite by far. The phone is cheap and economical, and yet popular and with so many new features, it's quite unbeliveanle for the price. The phone has many advantages over other phones. Firstly, it is easy to use. When I first get phones, it usually takes me a couple of days to work out how to do what I want to get done on them. With this phone, I was 'with it' within a couple of hours. The different sections (eg. Connect to Internet, Message Centre) make it easy to find what you want to find, and the phone doesn't use over-complicated language, which means that anyone can use it.
Secondly, it is economical. When it comes with the deal that I got it for (I got it in the BT Shop in town with 2 free covers, unlimited WAP for 3 months for just £39.99), it is extremely good value. You get 3 games on the phone, and there are more that can be downloaded off the free WAP time that you get with the phone. It has an in-built FM radio which is free to use, and it has internet access, which altogether make it a very good deal. It also has a calculator and stopwatch, and an alarm, so there's plenty to do without even making the call! Thirdly, it is fashionable. With the two covers that come with it in the deal (Blue and Glow-in-the-dark), the phone looks even better than it does on its own, and since it is one of the very latest available from Motorola is very hip and trendy to be seen with. It is fairly light and small, and is just the right size for pockets.
The phone covers and the phone itself are very durable, as they are made out of strong materials (except the glow-in-the-dark case which is still durable but made out of rubber). The reception quality is absolutely phenomenal. I haven't had a single difficulty picking up signals and it is always easy to connect to, exccept occasional difficulties connecting to the internet (WAP).
The battery does tend to run out quickly if you play the games a lot (and if you are anything like me, once you have them on there, you will need to recharge quite a bit!) but this isn't a problem if you avoid playing them when it is necessary. The only two disadvantages that the phone has are: 1 - It isn't a Nokia. It is generally only Nokias that are seen to be cool and trendy, despite the fact that this one would be a lot more popular given half the chance. 2 - It doesn't have voice activation or vibration. These are the devices that automatically finds the contact that you wish to talk to, and vibrate instead of ring when you recieve a call or a message, although to be honest, these are only luxuries.
I would most definitely recommend this phone, as I think it is fun to use, fashionable, durable, excellent value for money, and extremely useful. People of all ages will like it, but as for the games aspect, this will particularly appeal to teenagers and young people. A definite hit!

£39.99? I suppose that's the era of when phones were of sensible prices. Gd op, Zoey :_)

Sounds like a very nice phone. Incidentally, Taman Negara is in the centre of Peninsula Malay, a few hours travel from KL.

A very thorough appraisal of this phone, although I don't fathom your argument "It's not a Nokia, therefore it's not trendy" as this is certainly not the case. Admittedly Nokia has the largest market penetration at the moment, but then there are some very good non-Nokia phones. Siemens, Ericsson, Motorola, Sony and Pansonic are just five companies who make some great phones, and they aren't Nokia!
