A Motorola Razr is a light and practical flip phone. it isn't reccomended if you want to store lots of music/sounds/video clips, but for just making and recieving calls or texts, it is a very good phone.
*MEMORY*
The MotorolaRazr's memory is approximately 7500 KB. This is enough to store one custom song and some other sounds/videos, but there is already some Motorola made ringtones on the phone.
*HEIGHT & WIDTH*
The height of the phone when closed is approx. 9.5cm, and is 16cm when flipped up to answer calls etc. The width is 5 cm approx, give or take a centimetre.
It comes with a web browser ( which I think costs money but I didn't want to try it) , several games, office tools and multimedia. the games include; Billiards, Stepping Stones and another which I can't remeber as I delted it. The office tools are named; 02 ( maybe something different depending on your network), Calculator, Datebook, Shortcuts, Voice Records, Alarm Clock, Dialling Services and Chat. 02 and Dialling Services includes all the numbers that you need to listen to your voice mails or top up credit. A calculator obviously is there for you to work out maths sums quickly. A datebook is just like a diary kept in your phone. Shortcuts are for you to quickly move to something, like the Web Browser.I don't know what Voice Records are used for, but they often do not work anyway. An Alarm Clock is just something you can set to alert you at a certain time. I think that Chat is like an MSN Messenger for phones but I'm not sure as it confused me. Multimedia consists of Themes, Camera, Pictures, Videos, Video Camera and Sounds. Themes is what your background will look like, but you can select a custom one if you wish. Camera allows you to take your own photos. Pictures is your gallery of photos that you have taken from the camera or dowloaded by Bluetooth. When you are in the pictures section you can select your custom background. Videos is either videos that are put onto your phone by Motorola when you buy it, videos that you have been given by Bluetooth or your own videos you have took. Video Camera is where you can tape your own videos. Sounds is where you can listen to your own music, made on MotoMixer or that you have got from Bluetooth, or select your own ringtone.
*BLUETOOTH*
The Bluetooth on this handset is quite bad. The 'Look for Devices' function often doesn't work. I tryed this once on a coach and when there where at least 20 people with bluetooth switched on I found only one. If you want to view who you have transferred data with in the past you can have look in the 'Device History' section. There is a list of your former contacts and you can change what you view their bluetooth name as as well as wether they get automatic access to your phone or wether you have to permit them first. Then in the setup section you can change your Bluetooth name and change wether it is on or off.
Overall, the Motorola Razr is a fairly simple phone and is ok for people who are only interested in contacting people. I think to be improved it should either have a memory card slot or more phone memory available for multi-media.
