Technology seems to change incredibly fast thesedays but certain products seem to withstand the daily advancements because of the fact that they are so great at what the do.

With the introduction of the latest IPhones onto the market it may seem that very few other mobile telephones can compete, in particular ones that have been around for a few years now.

Why is the Motorola V3 still around?
The simple true is that it servs a market of people that do not have £200 or more to spend on a mobile. The V3 can be bought new £50 and used ones can be found for as little as £20. Furthermore a bigger concern with the rise of the touchscreen is the ever increasing number of smashed screets or damaged cases that you now see. Repairs to the standerd IPhone now cost around £60, a considerable amount considering that you could get a brand new phone.

Is it outdated?
Well, yes you can say that it doesn't have access to the internet or the latest apps cannot be downloaded onto it but on an economical basis if you are desperate for the latest apps why not get yourself a used Motorola V3 and a used IPod Touch, a maximum bill of £90 seems like a much better investment that the cost of buying a £200 IPhone.

How Easy Is It To Use?
Very, at the end of the day we must remember that many of the older generation have not been bought up around modern technology and it can seem excessivly complex. With the V3 it is simple to navigate around and has clear keys. I believe that it would be very difficult to spend more than a few moments sending even the more complex of texts.

Is it going to last?
I can say from personal experiencs of dropping it from the top of a ride at a theme park that it will survive almost anything that you can throw at it! Scratches are not noticable especially on the silver version, although black is also available.

A must buy for the more discerning mobile phone user!

I refuse to get a touch screen phone because I drop my mobile so often it would end up broken in no time- my dated flip phone stands up to my daily abuse.
