I have recently purchased my car from motorpoint. Yes I located the car that I liked and since owning the car it has been ok. However the Customer Service is extremly poor and very bad service.
I purchased my car and did NOT use their finance. This was a problem as each and every time I called they would push and push and push this onto me. I should have to say "Only Once" that I did not need this.
Not only that but when you reserve a car on-line and use your own finance company Motor Point loose interest in dealing with the collection dead line. In fact I had to do all the chasing and sorting for this. Each time I called Motorpoint thhey explained that only "ONE" person would deal with me and that "NO ONE ELSE" would be able to assist me.
This resulted in me having to call and call and call even Business Managers to sort the issue out, yet again they had a poor attitude.
Then the day of collection came.
The car was not clean inside even a basic hoover and had not been basic washed. If it had the level was very poor indeed.
The rear Head Rest had a problem and the Lady who was to hand the car over to me was so so very rude that I had to talk to the Manager. She did NOT say sorry and told me I was being off. How can I be off when I simply explain that I wished the headrest to be fixed before I took the car.
The overall feeling I have is they act as a "Convayor" belt, just want you IN and OUT ASAP. Its all about the PROFIT and TURNOVER and very very little about the client. Yes the cars a priced well, BUT and its a big BUT the experiance is so poor this reflects on their training, service and managers insight.
I would of rather paid a little more at a dealer and received excellent service. We are looking to buy another new car is 6months and dont think we will go back to Motorpoint.
