Moulinex ACP1P2

Advantages: cooks fairly well
Disadvantages: Dodgy handle

...We bought this product last year when all the kids in the house were demanding chips for their tea. My other half 'the one who must be obeyed' purchased the moulinex deep fat fryer because she liked the colour (sort of a pukey yellow) Ever since we have had the fryer, the unclipable handle comes off nearly every time we take food from the frier. More often that not we get splashed with extremely hot fat. We have to make sure the children are nowhere near when using it. I keep threatening to write to moulinex and complain about it, but unless I can do it on the PC via email I probably wont bother.... Read review

Advantages: Long lived
Disadvantages: A few nooks and crannies are hard to clean. Not dishwaser proof.

...After fiftenn years of service, one of the oldest surviving of my kitchen appliances is finally showing its age. It has done stirling service over the years, mainly for mixing cakes, although it does come with a range of slices and whisks. However, over the last couple of years the plastic bowl has begun to crack and a few bits have dropped off, although the motor is still going strong. I think another year or so and it will finally have to be retired. My experience of Moulinex, however, would definately push me towards buying another one from them.... Read review

Advantages: Very smooth juice produced
Disadvantages: Requires very less cleaning

.... There is a sieve like apparatus in the machine which locks in all the peels of the juice and allows only the juice to go into the glass. This saves having to take out all the seeds and other possible extracts. Also the machine will release all the juice that is possible to come out, normally when trying to take all the juice out of oranges by hand, it is very difficult, whereas with the juicer, it is a time to relax!! The machine doesn't make a loud noise therefore you can trust it to be involved anywhere in the home, whether your baby is asleep, or you are watching your favourite soap and making juice at the same time. Moulinex BKD231 JUICER gives 2 years manufacture guarantee for any problems faced with it and is quite strong therefore not easily broken.
