Advantages: Healthy and produces a very taste drink Disadvantages: Bit inconvenient
...so when I received a Moulinex BKA14A Juicemaster Junior Juice Extractor as a gift I was not overly impressed.
I do sometimes enjoy a glass of fresh orange juice first thing in the morning, but this is usually straight out of one those cardboard cartons. I don't have time to mess about in a morning crushing twenty pieces of fresh fruit to get half a glass of fresh juice, or so I thought.
One Sunday morning a few weeks ... ...Overall I think that the Moulinex Juice extractor is a lot of effort, it may be easy to use, but it still takes time to get it out of the cupboard, set it up, use, clean it and put it away for next time. It is not something that I will be using very often, I will probably be putting it away at the back of the cupboard until I have some company round who I want to impress, and in the meantime I will stick with my cardboard cartons.

One Sunday morning a few weeks ago I did finally get round to giving it a try and I must say I was quite impressed with the results. The machine comes with a very good instruction book and it is very easy to set up.
The first thing that I observed was that the hole at the top where the fruit or vegetables go into is not very big, only about three inches x one and a half inches, so it is necessary to cut everything up quite small.
Using the juicer is however very easy, you simply place a jug under the outlet spout and feed the produce through the chute at the top. The appliance is quite powerful with a 300 watt output so the whole thing takes less than a minute and the juice is collected in a clear, see through container.
The juice container has a 0.9L capacity (which is at least ten oranges so it's more than large enough). The fruit must be peeled first, stones removed and broken into bite size pieces and then, guided through the funnel with the pusher which is provided
I did notice that the pulp which was left behind was still quite wet so I suspect that the machine is not particularly efficient, but it was a gift after all and beggars can't be choosers.
The juice was very nice and full of bits which gave it that extra taste, It is probably best served chilled but I drank my straight away. Very nice, but still a little pointless I couldn't help thinking to myself.
This particular appliance is white in colour and a bit bulky to store or leave on the worktop. It has various speeds and an easy clean function. It is not too much hassle to clean if you at least rinse it under the tap straight away. It also comes with a special brush to clean the harder to reach parts. However, one of my concerns is with the pulp container, it does not look very well designed and it is difficult to clean, it is also made of very cheap, thin plastic which I fear will break easily.

Advantages: extracts juice efficiently Disadvantages: noisey
I have had my juicer since the January sales, when I was lucky enough to get mine from Currys for just under £20, a real bargin.
I bought this juicer because it is 300 watts and you need a powerful motor if you are going to juice regularly and I use mine every day.
I bought the juicer to help me loose weight as I needed to loose 40 pounds and since January 1st I have lost 25 pounds, it is mainly thanks to the juicer and a bit of swimming.
This ... ...pulp really dry, I used to have a Jack la Lanne power juice ( £120 ) which I sold and I think that this one is nearly as good!!
The hole at the top where you put the cut up friut and vegetables in is not very big - 7cm x 3.5 cm or 3" x 1 1/2 " approx. if you still work in imperial. This means you spend a lot of time chopping, I have found that the more you have to chop the fruit and veg the more juice they loose before you get them in the juicer, ...

Advantages: Good value, dishwasher safe parts Disadvantages: Pulp is quite wet after juicing
...book came free with my Moulinex Juicemaster Junior. As I tend to have regular fads that I soon loose interest in, I thought I'd start with a cheap juicer before spending over £100 on a better specified model.
The machine is easy to set up with a good instruction book. The Jason Vale book that I sent off for had many different smoothie and juice recipes but most of them have an apple and carrot base. This makes the juices more palatable as I don't ... ...is prepare everything first. The Moulinex has a small opening for the fruit and veg, so you have to cut up most items first. Remember to wash them and use organic produce if you can. Once your ingredients are prepared, they can be juiced in less than a minute. Place a jug under the outlet spout and feed the produce down the chute with the pusher provided. The pulp is collected in a see through container.
I wanted to be able to wash the parts in ...

Advantages: extracts most of the juice , very reasonably priced Disadvantages: bit noisy, have to cut up fruit and veg
I have had this juicer for just over a year now. I admit I do not use it every single day , but i do use it at least 3-4 times a week.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced but easy to use juicer which is efficient then this is the one for you. Mine came with " the juice masters " book which I think is standard but I am not certain, This books contains many recipes and tips on using the juicer. You will have to cut most fruit and veg before ... ...for instance. Most people complain about cleaning juicers , this one is fairly straightforward, the secret is,,if you are not going to clean it immediately then leave it to soak in warm soapy water as soon as you have finished using it. If you do that it should take no more than 5 mins at most to clean. I have used another similarly priced juicer in the past but I think this one is more efficient at extracting juice so you get more juice for less ...

Advantages: tasty juice Disadvantages: needs cleaning a lot..
The first time i encountered this product when i attended Ideal Home show at earls court. in fact my friend encouraged me to go, i was as well curious about this home shows , after some persuasion i decided to come along.
Entrance fee was £12 a think at the door , i must say if you what anything just go there. We went to kitchen section and everybody are trying to demonstrate all there products . And one of them this juicer.
The demonstration was ... ...divine. So i decided to buy one and i also bought a book of making different types of juices.
USAGE:
I would suggest to buy a book so you have a good variety of juices because it does really taste delicious and very healthy . I do most of the time combined the carrots and apple , you dont have to peel them , but you need to cut them enough to fit in the hole. Do not cut too small coz it wont process.
I did experiment with banana not good to use ...
