I have had my juicer since the January sales, when I was lucky enough to get mine from Currys for just under £20, a real bargin.I bought this juicer because it is 300 watts and you need a powerful motor if you are going to juice regularly and I use mine every day.
I bought the juicer to help me loose weight as I needed to loose 40 pounds and since January 1st I have lost 25 pounds, it is mainly thanks to the juicer and a bit of swimming. This juicer extacts a lot of the juice it leaves the pulp really dry, I used to have a Jack la Lanne power juice ( £120 ) which I sold and I think that this one is nearly as good!!
The hole at the top where you put the cut up friut and vegetables in is not very big - 7cm x 3.5 cm or 3" x 1 1/2 " approx. if you still work in imperial. This means you spend a lot of time chopping, I have found that the more you have to chop the fruit and veg the more juice they loose before you get them in the juicer, so it would be a good idea to check out the size of the hole when you are shopping for a juicer. The only negative point apart from the size of the hole is, it is a bit noisey, so if you fancy a fresh juice first thing in the morning you could end up waking the whole house!
I am really pleased with the reliability of it and I think it is great value for money even at the full price. The juicer cleans up really well in the dish washer I would recommend it to anyone!
