Frst of all I should say that my first one of these blew up, but I was told at the shop when I took it back that they'd never known this happen before.
It was my daughters idea, she'd seen it advertised while on her malaysian holidays and it sounded so good that she just had to have one. I looked forward to trying it.
It came with a free book 'The juicemasters ultimate fast food' by the juicemaster himself Jason Vale. I soon found it was a book I just couldn't put down. It told of all sorts of reasons why I should take up juicing and why some things like milk and meat were bad for you and also why you should juice apples and not just eat them. I must say I was convinced and couldn't believe that I'd lived so badly in the past. juicing was going to be great and I couldn't wait to get started.
I soon found myself in the supermarket with a trolly full of fruit and vegetables. what would raw beetroot juice be like? what about juiced spring greens or parsnips, and then of course I'd decided to make up my own mixtures like yellow peppers and watermelon. I paid for the lot, drove home and started. The juicers little engine was whirring away at full speed. (two speeds on this model- why? dont ask me). The juices turned out to be suprisingly tasty. For about a month you couldnt move without falling over a fruit or a vegetable, each one on death row , without chance of a reprieve.
Then I tried some of the recipes for juices in the back of the book. My favourite turned out to be 'The Goldie Hawn'. ever wondered why she looks so good? Another one that sounded okay was the 'Brad pip and Jenifer anniseed'. The juice master even devised an ultimate spring cleaning plan, but it was a bit too ultimate for me to try. My will power isn't that good.
Now though, like I do with all healthy plans I have given up. One day I took the machine apart to wash it, which it is necessary to do right away or all the little fruit bits that are stuck in it go rotten, and never put it back togerther again. Not the juicers fault, but mine. I am just not capable of this kind of healthy lifestyle..........or am I, where is that juicer? wonder what i've got in the fruit and veg line? Will I once again put the takeaway shop behind me?
yes, obviously a bit more detail could have been given, but overall, this is the kind of review that does give off positive vibes, and it is obviously a good buy, by the enthusiam you show in your review!! My son wants a juicer and i am definitely going to consider this, after reading this review.

Jason Vale certainly has a way of getting you to try new things, doesn't he? Think I'll go and do some juicing now. Hazel xx
