There is a sieve like apparatus in the machine which locks in all the peels of the juice and allows only the juice to go into the glass. This saves having to take out all the seeds and other possible extracts.
Also the machine will release all the juice that is possible to come out, normally when trying to take all the juice out of oranges by hand, it is very difficult, whereas with the juicer, it is a time to relax!!

...I was introduced to juicing by a health guru called Jason Vale whose book came free with my Moulinex Juicemaster Junior. As I tend to have regular fads that I soon loose interest in, I thought I'd start with a cheap juicer before spending over £100 on a better specified model.
The machine is easy to set up with a good instruction book. The Jason Vale book that I sent off for had many different smoothie and juice recipes but most of them have an apple and carrot base. This makes the juices more palatable as I don't think many people would like to drink celery or beetroot juice on its own.

...this juicer is easy to use and simple to set up, it does however make a lot of noise and also a lot of juice is wasted in the pulp. the spout for inserting the fruit is also quite small so all fruits need to chopped before you can put them through it. prices for this juicer vary and if you shop around you can save up to £10 on this and also get a free juice master book giving you loads of differant recipes for making juices and smoothees. the juicer comes aprt easily so cleaning is quite simple but again a lot of juice is wasted and pulp seems to gather around every part of the inside of the machine....
