Having now got all the parts to my juicer I was ready to go.
First came the fiddly bit, cutting up the fruit into small enough pieces to insert into the funnel at the top of the juicer. The pieces do need to be fairly small as the funnel is quite small, but you do not need to peel oranges etc. I did peel kiwi fruit as I just couldnt fancy introducing brown ... ...the switch and the juicer whirred into action and juice started to drip out of the spout into the jug I had placed underneath to catch it. All the pips pith etc remained in the drum of the juicer.
Not much fruit could be introduced at one time and it needed to be held down with the pusher. Too much pressure slowed the spinning cutters so there was a bit of trial and error initially to judge how much pressure to use.

My review is on the Moulinex BKD231 JUICER. This product was bought for me as a Christmas present because I love making juices. I normally spend hours crushing orange halves to make just about a glass of orange juice. With the new Moulinex BKD231 JUICER I have no trouble in even peeling the fruits. All I have to do is put the fruit of my choice in the 'tunnel feeder' and let the machine do the hard work. I normally add strawberries and guava pieces ... ...the same time. Moulinex BKD231 JUICER gives 2 years manufacture guarantee for any problems faced with it and is quite strong therefore not easily broken. The size of the machine is manageable and doesn't take up much room which means you can just leave it in a corner of your shelves. So why not buy your mother, this great mother's day present and keep her juicing away....remember Moulinex BKD231 JUICER is lonely and is waiting for you!! ...
