Advantages: Mixes quickly and smoothly without effort Disadvantages: so easy to get carried away and produce fluffy milkshake formula!!
...My Little kitchen wizard is the MoulinexTurbomix. . This multi mixer is perfect for mixing formula feeds, with the result of no residue or lumps.
The mixer can also be used when weaning for purees and then onto soups.
Mine only cost £7.99 from Kwik save and was a brilliant buy. However they usually sell around the £10.00 region in Argos.
As it can be used for soups and sauces it does not melt in continuous use with hot water, as did my old mixer. We also use ours for mixing hot chocolate, mmmm.
The unit is very slim and lightweight, the blades are in a protective shell, which unwinds easily for cleaning, and can be immersed in hot water to clean.
I have had mine over a year and it is used at least 4-5 times a day and is still immaculate and working…not bad for someone who can break a toaster.

Advantages: Gives the best form of nutrition you can get. Disadvantages: Parts of the machine can be fiddly to clean.
...and depression that went with it and truly believed I was being deprived. I also tried to con myself into thinking that overall my diet was quite healthy.
Whilst on holiday camping in the UK during possibly the second wettest August on record in the last century, I came across a book by Dr Gillian McKeith which I subsequently purchased and read. ...I bought my Moulinex hand-mixer around five years ago, for about £10. Previously I had had larger mixers, the kind that come with a stand and a bowl. However I had found some distinct disadvantages with this type of mixer: for one thing, they either take up a great deal of space on the kitchen work surfaces, or get packed away in a cupboard and then it's a nuisance to get them out. Then there's the problem that only one bowl (that supplied with the mixer) will fit the base, so if I wanted to mix two or three things in separate bowls, I had to keep decanting what was already mixed, and cleaning the bowl out. And if the bowl breaks, the mixer becomes useless, unless you can find a replacement. With some mixers it's possible to remove the main mechanism from the stand, and use it as a hand-held one, but I never found that this worked...
