Mousetrap Now, everybody loves Mousetrap, right? The kids' game which is all about building a fairly convoluted and complicated trap to catch a mouse. Of course. However, it's another thing whether anyone has even the slightest idea what the bloody rules or object of the game are. We're all so bloody obsessed with putting together the pieces to create the trap, and seeing exactly how it works, and we all have such short attention spans, that really this game is one of the true mysteries of science. You see, I challenge anyone to tell me what the rules are. And I'm pretty bloody certain I'll ... more

Mousetrap- the nearest thing to a adventure for many children. One of the few games that you can actually see work, this is a great favourite for kids. Mousetrap is a board game in which you roll a dice then move accordingly- making it a game of luck and playable by adults and kids at the same time. Every time you land on a specific quare you can add a bit to a mouse trap (not the ordinary kind!) In this mouse trap a ball rolls down a slope, whacks a boot before causing a soldier to jump and eventually making the trap fall onto a square. If there's any mice (counters for the game) there then ... more

Going through a spat of childhood memories with my games reviews, and which other game holds so many memories than Mousetrap? You take the part of a mouse, working your way around the board, trying to evade capture from the elaborate mouse trap. Should you set it off, the whole thing sets off a chain of events and catches you. It’s one of those contraptions that always seem to go wrong at some point, (seemed to always be the diving man bit that never worked), and you can’t help but think they tried a little too hard with this game to make it practical. The worst thing about this game is the ... more

As a small child I didn't have MOUSETRAP. I suspect neither did the person who bought it for my 5 year this christmas! When the christmas parcel was unwrapped i was sooooooooo excited,My daughter on the other hand was in the "next" mode waiting for another parcel. I couldn't wait until the madness had calmed down as I was looking for the oppurtunity to play MOUSETRAP. My time had come,my smaller child was happily being entertained my his father, my 5 year old was happy to help me set up MOUSETRAP. Now a question!
