Mousetrap
Advantages Fun for the whole damn family
Disadvantages Yes
Mousetrap- the nearest thing to a adventure for many children. One of the few games that you can actually see work, this is a great favourite for kids.
Mousetrap is a board game in which you roll a dice then move accordingly- making it a game of luck and playable by adults and kids at the same time. Every time you land on a specific quare you can add a bit to a mouse trap (not the ordinary kind!) In this mouse trap a ball rolls down a slope, whacks a boot before causing a soldier to jump and eventually making the trap fall onto a square. If there's any mice (counters for the game) there then it traps them and they've won.Mousetrap is a fun, lively game that can be enjoyed from anyone about 7 to adulthood! It does get a bit tedious after a while as the whole game is worked up to a mouse being trapped and occasionally this doesn't happen- really annoying when you've spent a couple fo hours setting the mousetrap up!
The worst thing about the game is that if you make one little mistake with setting up the mousetrap then it doesn't work and you have to set it up all again. The bits are really fiddly and don't always go where you want them to. the board is touch sensitive and is triggered off a lot.Overall I think Mousetrap is a fun, different game that game be enjoyed by all ages. i don't really reccomend buying it as it quickly loses it's initial buzz and gets shoved into the back of the cupboard after 3 or 4 games. Also, younger children need help to set it up so it's not the most convinient game ever
