Advantages: Reduces pain, doesn't allow scabs to form, heals quicker

Advantages: It works, and fast too. Very portable

Zovirax cream probably the leading brand in treating cold sores. Its easily applicable and dries up quickly without leaving the skin sticky. You can really notice the difference with this cream although I'm not sure about how fast the cream works when your blisters are at its scab stage. Disadvantages: Contains Sulphuric Acid, do not use if allergic to Sulphur

I think that people should use this product with caution. One of the ingredients is Sulphuric acid. This means that if you have an allergy to Sulphur, of course you may not know this when buying and using the product, you could end up as I did.
