On Mars, 200 years in the future, Casseia Majundar is forced to become one of those who will lead mankind into a new era, due to a new kind of physics which could change man and... more...the universe irrevocably.
Advantages: Amazing scenery Disadvantages: Week story and can easily get bored watching
The Bear is one of my husbands favourite films and he has been trying to get it on DVD for a very long time so I decided I would treat him for when he returned home from Afghan. The only trouble with getting it for him is that he wanted me to watch it with him!
THE FILM
The film is set in the mountains of British Columbia in 1885.
The film is based on a bear cub who looses his mother when a big rock falls on her. He is left all alone struggling to survive. He comes across a giant male bear but the bear wants nothing to do with the cub as the male bears do not rear the cubs.
The male bear gets shot by hunters who are out in the forest looking for a kill. The wounded bear goes off and tries to heal his wound. The brave bear cub goes over to him and helps him by licking his wound. The male bear befriends the cub and decides ...

Advantages: Classic chocolate bar Disadvantages: They changed the nougat filling
This is perhaps the most classic chocolate bar from my childhood. It has long been my favourite as a kid and I sort of have to say it still is so as not to feel as if I have disowned it (sorry Mars Bar but I have found other favourites - I still love you though!).

A standard Mars bar comes at 58g, about 11cm long and 1.8cm high. You'll pay about 32p for this bar in supermarkets which is well below the norm of 50p. They used to be more expensive but in recent years, the classic nougat and caramel filling has obviously lost its appeal as new and more ...

Advantages: Energy, Easy to drink, Smooth Disadvantages: Weak Taste, high price
I bought a bottle of yet another energy drink today, this time a bottle of Mars Refuel, I had intended to drink this during the afternoon yesterday but felt a bit of heart burn and an icky stomach for the vast part of the afternoon-cum-evening, when it comes to a bad stomach something I stay away from is a milky drink such as this so I've kept it. Now with Murray playing Gulbis in the US Open and unable to sleep anyway it seems the perfect chance to review this and cheer on the world number 2 and probably the greatest Scottish tennis player of all time.
The huge confectionery company Mars, arguably the chocolate version of Coca-Cola, have gone into the drinks industry with this energy drink. Now when talking about energy drinks we usually refer to Isotonic drinks (Powerade, Gatorade and Lucuzade Sport) which replenish the body via ...

Compare Moving Mars - Greg Bear to other similar Horror Books »
Stephen King's claim to fame ; Superb atmosphere ; Sublime plot ; A vivid imagination that stretches all supernatural boundaries ; Probably responsible for some of the best horror films of the 70's and 80's
Some unessesary background in the first half ; Kubrik mucked up the story too much ; Could have been much more (*)
