~~~~~~~~Mr Brains Faggots~~~~~~~
I was looking around my local tesco for a meal for tea when i came acroos a bright yellow box-Mr Brains Faggots
~~~~~~~~the Packaging~~~~~~~~~

I bought a box with four faggots in for 1.29, but they do also come in boxes of two for around 99p and six for around 1.69 i think its better value to buy the six for the price. On the box is Mr Brians Faggots written across the front, also it states that there are four pork faggots in west country sauce inside the box. There is an appetising picture of the faggots with mash and peas on there too.

~~~~~~~~~Nutrition~~~~~~~~~~~
Energy 200kcal
Protein 13.3g
Carbohydrate 25.4g
Fat 10.4g
Of which is saturates 4g
Fibre 1.9g
Sodium 1.1g
these figures are for 189g serving which works out roughly as two faggots. I wouldnt really recommend these to anyone who is dieting
~~~~~~~~~~~~The Faggots~~~~~~~~~~~

The four faggots come in a siver tray and cardboard lid. They come in a west country sauce which is a bit like gravy but is a bit thicker and has a distinctive taste that i cant really describe, also i found that there wasnt much of it. The faggots are basically made from offal the bits of meat leftovers and add in a bit of onion, this all sounds a bit disgusting but take it from me they taste delicious.

~~~~~~~~~~The Cooking~~~~~~~~~~~
They come in a siver tray but there are two ways that you can cook faggots
Oven-Loosen the edges all around the tray and pop them in
230C/ 450F or gas mark 8 for 30-40 mins.
Microwave-put the faggots in a plastic container and pop them in
650 watt for 6-7 mins or 850 watt for 4-5 mins and leave to stand for 1 min
Please dont forget to take them out of silver tray or you will go bang !
I prefer to cook them in the oven because they go crispy on the tops
So for a quick tea i recommend you go out and have a try
Thank you for reading my review x
Despite hating these as a child, I love them now. My kids don't like them yet tho', so it just means more for me! OINK.
