Mr. Kipling Christmas Pudding & Brandy Sauce Slices

A strange thing seems to happen to food manufacturers worldwide when they realise that Christmas is approaching. Crisp makers throw a handful of turkey and stuffing flavouring upon their newly cooked snacks and market them as “Luxury Yuletide Crisps”, and cake makers go all out to produce some strange and not always wonderful concoctions. It is a well known fact that my mum makes the best Christmas pudding in the world, ever. It is so good that she makes a great big batch which she gives to friends. Alas I have only been able to enjoy last year's pudding having only very recently gotten over an aversion to raisins and sultanas and dried fruit in general. It is good stuff. Of course that would be the year where mother dearest had only the one pudding left for us, such was the demand for her famed puddings.
