Mr Strong and the flood is a book in the new story library from the Mr Men collection.
Mr Strong is a square shape with little arms and is red in colour and he wears a green bowler hat.
THE STORY
The beginning of the story tells us how strong Mr Strong is, he put his Wellingtons on and pulled so hard that he put his foot right through the bottom and he pushed his umbrella up so hard that it turned inside out! It also goes on to tell us what he does when he breaks his front door handle.
We then go on to read how Mr Strong goes out for a walk in the rain and tells us that it has been raining for nearly a whole week. As Mr Strong is out on his walk he meets Farmer Field who is very worried as his sheep are all stuck out in the field which is surrounded by rain water.
How will Mr Strong help Farmer Fields???
MY OPINION
This book belong to my middle son who is 3 as he chose it due to red being his favourite colour!
All of my boys enjoy the story and find it interesting and they don't get distracted from it as they enjoy looking at the colourful pictures.
This book is set out in the standard way as all of the others in the collection with the text being on one side of the page and the picture being on the other. Again it does have quite small text which my eldest is not keen on reading
There are 12 books in the new Mr Men library and also 12 books in the new Little Miss collection.
The retail price for this is £1.50 but these are still on offer in Morrisons at 2 books for £2.00 so I will definitely be getting the full collection of 12 and making the most of this offer.
