When it comes to shaving my skin is the worst for sensitivity. The blade scrapes off what seems to be a layer of skin every time i shave. After i rinse the foam off my face i am left with bits of dry skin cells all over my face. Using a moisturiser solved the problem in the short term but tomorrow the same would happen again. So my sister suggested that i use this product as i could help with my problem skin, and boy does it work!!
What is it?
The one i use is a sticky-like substance which comes in a squeezable tube and contains fruit AHAs and ginseng extracts.
How is it used?
You squeeze a small amount on your fingertips and apply all over your face avoiding the eye and mouth areas. Your face will feel quite sticky at first and as the gel dries on your skin you face will feel quite tight. You are to leave the product to dry for around 15 minutes and then starting from your cheek, pull the mask away slowly. It's a nice, tingly feeling that you'll experience when doing this. After you've pulled the entire mask off, rinse with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
What are the benefits?
For me, the biggest benefit was that i no longer have those dead skin cells after shaving which is a blessing and i can't belive how well it worked even after the first time. My skin also feels really soft and smooth and my face actually glows healthily for a good few hours after application. It gives your skin a nice, clean, pure feeling which feels great. It also removes any blackheads you have and prevents spots so it's ideal for teenagers to use. After using you may experience a pink glow to your skin which is nothing to worry about, it's just the circulation to your face that you should always be having.
How often do i use it?
It's recommended that you use the product 2 times a week to keep your skin soft and healthy looking and you can take my word for it that this product delivers what it promises.
It costs around £5.00 - £7.00 from high street stores but i got mine from Halfpriceorless.com for £1.99. If you use the product as often as recommended then the 75g tube will last you a good 2 months which works out excellent value for money.
I couldn't rate this product highly enough as it has solved a quite embarrassing problem for me. If you are a person who likes to take care of your skin (and who isn't?) or give yourslef the occasional pampering session then you should buy this product next time you're out shopping and experience it for yourself and if it works for you as well as it did for me then you'll be glad you bought it.
Advantages: great for removing dry dead skin cells Disadvantages: you might get freaked out by the peeling off part
...find very helpful is the Mudd Peel Off Face Mask. There are other Mudd Masks available, such as the “Original”, “Sea Clay” and “Self Heating” to name a few.
It comes in a 15ml foil sachet that cost me 88 pence in Asda. I think it might be available in tubes from Boots for just under a fiver. The sachet has a white section up the left hand side with green writing which says “Mudd”. Along the top it says “Peel-off Mask” in white writing on a green ... ...a woman’s face and she is peeling off her mask. Down at the bottom it says “With fruit AHA’s & extract of ginseng.
On ripping open the sachet you will see a clear gel that has a tint of green. I don’t mean to put you off, but if you think along the lines of snot. Okay, once you get over the appearance aspect you smell a combination of fruit. I can’t put my finger on exactly what it smells like. How to Apply
Wash face with warm water and pat dry. ...

Advantages: Totally smooth and cleansed skin. Disadvantages: Expensive - £1 scahet will last two treatments.
Peel off face masks are perfect for leaving a smooth and totally cleansed complexion. The mask works by drying on your skin and then (as it is pulled off) taking of dead skin and black heads from the skin surface. As you can imagine, this is great for bashing spots goodbye.
I recieved this mask in my stocking this Chritmas (Santa is getting groovier as the years go on) and decided to try it out that night. I am usually a bit dubious about using ... ...this did not cause any reaction.
You apply the mask to cleansed skin and leave it for 10 minutes. It must be totally dry before you start peeling it off. It is quite uncomfortable when you peel it off - almost like waxing your skin - but don't worry, it is quick and really, really works.
You are left with an incredibly smooth and soft face. I use the product now twice a week and have noticed a real difference in the appearance of my skin. It now ...

Advantages: perfect for sensitive skin, fun! Disadvantages: can be a bit messy
...skin. So finding that Mudd did a peel-off mask was something that peaked my interest. The price also caught my eye at £1.00 a sachet (why pay £30.00+ at a beauty salon when you can DIY at home!)I got mine at B**ts but can buy it at most chemists
I first tried it on the back of my hands & loved the fact that my hands felt smoother. This is so I could find out whether i was allergic to it or not
The pack itself is slightly messy to put on if your ... ...the end you need to scope the rest of it out somehow.
However you can feel the mask working when it dries as you feel your skin tightening which is always a good sign with peel-offs. Leave around ten minutes for it to dry. If you find after you've peeled it off you still have "wet" patches, use your fingers to roll the rest off as it's less harsh than picking at it (I was educated in this art by a beauty therapist friend of mine!)
But I found that ...

six uses, and I used it about once or twice a week. So for 99p its well worth it.
So, if you want to try it out for yourself, then it comes in a small white square-shaped sachet and in bright pink lettering it says MUDD. The mask is available in other types as well as the exfoliating and cleansing one. There is also a peeloffmask, Original, sensitive hypo-allergenic, and self heating mask. I have only tried the exfoliating and cleansing one, and im not sure if I will try any others…. Probably!
