I'd finished my tea, and due to my huge main course, i wasn't feeling up to my usual pudding, such as sticky toffee pudding or a slice of apple pie. I wanted something light, that would satisfy my sweet tooth. So i ventured over to the fridge, not knowing what to find, my mum had been shopping the previous morning and I was positive the fridge would be bursting full of treats!

I was right. It was bursting full with yogurts and desserts. There was frozen chocolate desserts, chocolate puddings, little fromage frais, mullerlights, and wait...what was that..? A STRAWBERRY MULLER FRUIT CORNER. Wow I had not had one of these in a long while. I had had a couple of crunch corners and some of the newer dessert corners in the past couple of months, but no, i hadn't had a STRAWBERRY FRUIT CORNER in a long while.

I think perhaps it was the wrapper which caught my eye. The yogurt pot is 175g and it is unusally shaped. A large triangle, filled with yogurt and a much smaller triangle next to it filled with either your fruit compote, or sweet treat.

-APPEARENCE-

The wrapper on the strawberry fruit corner was extremely eye catching. The main colour being a bright reddish pinkish colour. In the bottom left hand corner there was a picture of a spoon, filled with creamy, bright white yogurt, topped with a layer of georgous looking strawberry compote.
In the top right hand corner ther are pictures of delicious looking ruby red strawberrys. MULLER CORNER is written on the pot, and the word FRUIT is written underneith in smaller fancyer writing. Very eye catching and appealing.
The yogurt is described on the pot as Thick and creamy yogurt with a seperate helping of strawberrys in syrup.

Appearence 5/5
-COST AND AVAILABILITY-

We purchased our fruit corners from tescos. We bought 3 seperate corners, each costing 48p. This is not a brilliant price, yet it is not a bad price.
It is probably better value to buy these in multi-packs. Yes they do come in multi-packs, you can get fruit corner packs, crunch corner packs and dessert corner multi-packs. They are normally found in packs of 6.
Crunch corners are availiable basically everywhere..From your local super market, to the corner shop, you're bound to find them very near you.

Cost and availiability- 4/5-SMELL-

I sat at the table with my little delight. I couldn't wait to tuck in so i ripped of the paperish foilish lid quickly and I was about to dive in when a beautiful vanilley, slight strawberry aroma hit my nostrils. I got a little closer to the yogurt and took a sniff. Mmm it smelt very vanilla like, and there was a distinct "creamy" smell. The strawberry compote was not very smelly and i couldn't smell it untill i got really close.

Smell- 3/5-APPEARENCE-

I glanced at the fruit corner. The vanilla yogurt looked beautiful and creamy, almost white. The fruit compote in the little traingle container didn't look too appetizing i have to admit, it looked slightly gloopy and it looked as though there was huge chewy lumps in it. But was i going to be proved wrong in the taste test?

Appearence- 3/5-TASTE-

The main part of the review? I bet you are willing me to get on with it? Okay here goes.
I dipped my teaspoon in to the almost-white yogurt (yes i must use teaspoons, it makes the pud last longer). I raised the spoon to my mouth, took a deep breath and entered it into the tunnel (my mouth?!).
Wow! It was absoulutly beautiful. There was a distinct vanilla taste and it was rather sweet. yet not too sweet, it had a divine creamy taste aswell and once i had taken one spoonfull, i couldt stop myself going back for a second, then a third.

Next was the strawberry fruit compote. This, i was nervous about tasting, it didnt look very appetizing, but i braved it, dunked my spoon in and pushed perhaps reluctintly into my mouth. i was proved wrong. the taste was sweet and delicious. Though i was faced with large chunks of chewy strawberry, i would have perhaps preferred if the compote had been smooth..but it was decent.

Next it was time to mix the two flavours together. Mmmmm, it was lovely though i preferred them seperatly. Perhaps because i put too much strawberry on my spoon, but i found that the compote overpowered the delicious creamy yogurt when eaten together.

Taste- 4/5.-RECCOMENDATION-

Yes, in a word, i would reccomend this. The creamy yogurt is one of the best vanilla flavour yogurt i have ever tasted, and believe me i have tasted alot of yogurts.
The price isnt too bad either, and because this isnt too unhealthy you can treat yourself more often than that of a crunch or a dessert corner.
