After discovering the amazing offer on the Müller Light yoghurts at Asda a few weeks back, with their '12 for £3' deal, I took advantage of this great price on several occasions, which gave me the chance to sample my way through each yoghurt flavour they had available. After a mix of opinion and experiences, I have managed to conclude my most preferred flavour; which is none other than the marvellous Mandarin Müller Light option!
***** When I first decided to sit myself down with the Mandarin yoghurt after my sandwich, I wasn't sure what to expect; I had never tasted mandarins before. I imagined it tasted perhaps slightly like oranges, but that was basing it purely on the image of the segments which could be seen on the foil lid of the pot. The only way to find out if I was correct or not was to open it up and find out! As I pulled back the lid (not showered with yoghurt for once!), I was immediately hit with the strong aroma of orange. This was merely making the pudding seem more tempting and appetizing than before, and assured me of its unknown taste all the more.
After discarding the lid, I peered into the pot to examine the contents. The yoghurt itself was exceptionally pale in colour. It appeared to have unsightly pieces of shredded carrot mixed through it (though thankfully it was just tiny pieces of mandarin). Fortunately, I was not put off by this gruesome form, and my craving kept hold of my appetite. There was no way I could not indulge in my dessert now I was even more sure that it would taste as pleasant as orange!
Was it going to be a delight to eat though? Up until then I had only imagined its flavour. It was time to put my curiosity at rest and carry out the good old 'taste test'. I scooped up a healthy serving on my spoon and shovelled it into my mouth. Now the first think that I found striking was not the taste, but in actual fact was the texture! I imagined it would be quite 'bitty' and irritable, considering they pieces of mandarin were so visible, but it turned out to be exceptionally smooth and creamy! As for the taste, well it seemed to resemble more of a lemon zest than an orange! Since sampling this yoghurt, I have tried mandarins themselves, and the taste is very much similar, but I am more familiar with that of the lemon and find it is a much simpler way to imagine and help describe its rich and scrumptious flavour!
The experience with eating a Mandarin Müller Light is quite unique, certainly not a taste like any other yoghurt I have tried!

Müller Light
Despite all their great options and snacks, Muller Light is most definitely my favourite yoghurt option, and there isn't a day that goes by now without me having one - fortunately, they are quite healthy! You cannot possibly get bored with the taste either, as they offer such a variety of flavours and experiences for you to devour! They do the Fruity range; this included flavours like Apricot, Blueberry, and Rhubarb. There's the Smooth range; yoghurt without 'bits'! They do flavours such as toffee, and banana and custard! The newest edition is the Fruit Layers- yoghurt with layers of fruit puree through the bottom! They're delicious, especially the Peach and Passionfruit option!
Would I Recommend?
When considering the Müller and Müller Light range as a whole, I have absolutely no problem in recommending their splendid products. Looking more specifically at the Mandarin Light yoghurt, I can do no less than highly recommend! Of course, since it is one of my favourites, my opinion may be slightly biased, but weighing up the factors, it really is a great yoghurt!
Because of the low calorie and fat content, it could be seen as a great treat for dieters, depending on what regime they are following of course! It's a nice size too, filling you up after consuming to prevent any snacking later on! Although it may not be the ideal yoghurt for lunchboxes, it's a great snack for children to indulge in when they come home, 'starving' from a tough day at school, rather than filling themselves up on sweets and various other 'junk foods!'. Light yoghurts are also a superb means of calcium too, to ensure strong and healthy bones!
With its splendid texture and appetising smell, the only reason I would not recommend this yoghurt is if the taste disagrees with you. Though if you enjoy the taste of oranges and lemons, then this is definitely the dairy dessert for you!
***** Since sampling this flavour for the first time, I have enjoyed it on more than one occasion, and it's almost guaranteed that I will be devouring a few more pots of Mandarin Müller Light before long!
Advantages: A quick, filling and flavourful snack Disadvantages: Aspartame
'''INTRODUCTION'''
Muller Light fat free yoghurt used to be one of the first things on our weekly shopping list when we first started Slimming World. It’s “free” on the plan (which means you can eat as much of it as you want – in moderation) and given how often it's advertised and mentioned by their consultants, it’s practically in a food group of its own. However, ever since I discovered the potential dangers of aspartame (one of the sweeteners ... ...opting for organic, natural products (like Yeo Valley) which manage to use non-artificial sweeteners. I still have them on occasion, as they have some great flavours, and one of my favourites is Mandarin. This flavour is sold on its own in a 200 gram pot, as well as part of the Tropical six pack that also includes Peach and Pineapple, and Apricot. They usually retail for around 50p a pot when bought separately, but most supermarkets usually have ...

...Flavor & Taste =====
Muller Light yogurt has many flavors and mandarin is one of them. Get my spoon ready and open the lid. First I smell the fruity, cool and fresh of the yogurt. I always keep them refrigerated. If you eat it as room temperature, the smell and taste may different.
The yogurt is creamy color with yellow mandarin bits. It looks a bit thick maybe because it contains Gelatine. It tastes a little sweet but fine for me and do has light ... ...=====
The typical of Muller Light is 200g per pot. They are packed with easy open foil lid. The pot is not in completely regular shape. It contains a layer on the top and a deeper layer in the bottom. I don't know the reasons. It makes difficult to eat up completely. I guest the top one may help to seal more tightly and the bottom one may help it to stand steady. However, this may add a bit fun when you eat it. You are just trying to scratch out ...

...a few shelves worth of Muller to choose from and the Mandarin flavour is usually there amongst them.
Muller Lights are sold in 200g pots and are usually 35-45p per pot (they always seem to be on offer though, 3 for so much or 4 for so much which works out a few pence cheaper).

You can smell the mandarin flavour as soon as you peel the lid off and you can see the bits of orange in the yoghurt itself. The yoghurt isn't too runny neither is it as thick as fromage frais. ...pot they offer great value. Muller have a number of flavours across their light yogurt range, the mandarin is however the tastiest and provide a thick and creamy taste that you don't often tend to get with citrus styled yoghurts.
Light and easily accessable the packaging makes them great for travel snacks and lunch boxes they are however robust enough to avoid leaks.
Muller also seem to be heavily promoting them at the moment so you can often pick ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "Muller Light Mandarin"
Every Christmas we would have some sort of dessert option, as most people do. Some go for cakes and Christmas puddings, but my personal favourite is the cheesecake. It is something I have always loved, whether it is strawberry or toffee, and not too long ago I had the chance to try a new flavour of cheesecake.
After I had tried the MandarinMullerLight yoghurt option, I began to eat mandarins themselves on a regular basis. Then whilst browsing the freezers in Asda, looking for a delicious dessert option, we came across the mandarin cheesecake and I decided it was the one we should buy. So we did, and after allowing it do defrost it was time to try...never before had I tasted such a delicious cheesecake! From that moment I claimed the mandarin cheesecake as my favorite. So when I discovered that Tesco too did a mandarin cheesecake ...
Advantages: Marvellous taste Disadvantages: A little expensive
I have already reviewed the Mullerlight Dark Cherry and Chocolate yoghurt which is my favourite out of the 3 new 'chocolate' varieties but this, the Orange and Chocolate comes a very close second.
To be honest I had expected this to be a pot of the existing MandarinMullerlight yogurt with some chocolate yogurt mixed through it but as with the Dark Cherry and Chocolate I was surprised as, on opening the pot, it the yogurt was a very appealing yellowy orange colour (not just off white like the mandarin one) with milk chocolate sprinkles on the top.
There is no layer of thick orange at the bottom as with the Dark Cherry but this is not needed, the yogurt is thick enough as it is, the taste is great giving a luxury feel which is very satisfying with the chocolate sprinkles throughout the whole pot. Given all this it is marvellous ...
