Muller Light Mandarin

... Well, looking at the nutrition, the calorie and fat content are very promising, but perhaps the sugar levels in it are slightly high, but when compared with other yoghurts, it's quite reasonable! As for the ingredients, they seem quite simple, though I know many people do not like consuming ... Read review

Muller Light Mandarin - A Fresh & Summery Yoghurt

Advantages: A quick, filling and flavourful snack
Disadvantages: Aspartame

'''INTRODUCTION''' Muller Light fat free yoghurt used to be one of the first things on our weekly shopping list when we first started Slimming World. It’s “free” on the plan (which means you can eat as much of it as you want – in moderation) and given how often it's advertised and mentioned by their consultants, it’s practically in a food group of its own. However, ever since I discovered the potential dangers of aspartame (one of the sweeteners ...
...opting for organic, natural products (like Yeo Valley) which manage to use non-artificial sweeteners. I still have them on occasion, as they have some great flavours, and one of my favourites is Mandarin. This flavour is sold on its own in a 200 gram pot, as well as part of the Tropical six pack that also includes Peach and Pineapple, and Apricot. They usually retail for around 50p a pot when bought separately, but most supermarkets usually have ...

~Origins~ Ludwig Muller opened the original dairy in Bavaria in 1896. Today the business is run by his grandson Theo who took control in 1970 and has a turnover of £1.3 billion. The business was launched in the UK in 1987. Most of their UK production is based in Market Drayton in Shropshire. The Mullerlight range was launched in 1990. Fruity Light From Muller

Advantages: great taste, good source of calcium
Disadvantages: none

...Flavor & Taste ===== Muller Light yogurt has many flavors and mandarin is one of them. Get my spoon ready and open the lid. First I smell the fruity, cool and fresh of the yogurt. I always keep them refrigerated. If you eat it as room temperature, the smell and taste may different. The yogurt is creamy color with yellow mandarin bits. It looks a bit thick maybe because it contains Gelatine. It tastes a little sweet but fine for me and do has light ...
...===== The typical of Muller Light is 200g per pot. They are packed with easy open foil lid. The pot is not in completely regular shape. It contains a layer on the top and a deeper layer in the bottom. I don't know the reasons. It makes difficult to eat up completely. I guest the top one may help to seal more tightly and the bottom one may help it to stand steady. However, this may add a bit fun when you eat it. You are just trying to scratch out ...

Yep, it's yet another Muller Light flavour to try

Advantages: A large pot
Disadvantages: none

...a few shelves worth of Muller to choose from and the Mandarin flavour is usually there amongst them. Muller Lights are sold in 200g pots and are usually 35-45p per pot (they always seem to be on offer though, 3 for so much or 4 for so much which works out a few pence cheaper). The lid is the usualy foil printed lid you peel off. The pots are brilliant for use after the yogurt's been eaten. I wash them and keep them for my girls to use when they ...
...your seeds in if you like to grow plants or flowers. You can smell the mandarin flavour as soon as you peel the lid off and you can see the bits of orange in the yoghurt itself. The yoghurt isn't too runny neither is it as thick as fromage frais. I personally think it's a good consistency and is great for putting over muesli or fruit. I think it's a got a lovely fresh taste and is very refreshing after a meal. I have used it before now as topping ...

Great tasting and filling yoghurt

Advantages: A refreshing tasty yoghurt
Disadvantages: none

...pot they offer great value. Muller have a number of flavours across their light yogurt range, the mandarin is however the tastiest and provide a thick and creamy taste that you don't often tend to get with citrus styled yoghurts. Light and easily accessable the packaging makes them great for travel snacks and lunch boxes they are however robust enough to avoid leaks. Muller also seem to be heavily promoting them at the moment so you can often pick ...

Man', do I love this!

Advantages: delicious, price, healthy
Disadvantages: /

Every Christmas we would have some sort of dessert option, as most people do. Some go for cakes and Christmas puddings, but my personal favourite is the cheesecake. It is something I have always loved, whether it is strawberry or toffee, and not too long ago I had the chance to try a new flavour of cheesecake. After I had tried the Mandarin Muller Light yoghurt option, I began to eat mandarins themselves on a regular basis. Then whilst browsing the freezers in Asda, looking for a delicious dessert option, we came across the mandarin cheesecake and I decided it was the one we should buy. So we did, and after allowing it do defrost it was time to try...never before had I tasted such a delicious cheesecake! From that moment I claimed the mandarin cheesecake as my favorite. So when I discovered that Tesco too did a mandarin cheesecake ...

Chocolate organge in a pot ?

Advantages: Marvellous taste
Disadvantages: A little expensive

I have already reviewed the Muller light Dark Cherry and Chocolate yoghurt which is my favourite out of the 3 new 'chocolate' varieties but this, the Orange and Chocolate comes a very close second. To be honest I had expected this to be a pot of the existing Mandarin Muller light yogurt with some chocolate yogurt mixed through it but as with the Dark Cherry and Chocolate I was surprised as, on opening the pot, it the yogurt was a very appealing yellowy orange colour (not just off white like the mandarin one) with milk chocolate sprinkles on the top. There is no layer of thick orange at the bottom as with the Dark Cherry but this is not needed, the yogurt is thick enough as it is, the taste is great giving a luxury feel which is very satisfying with the chocolate sprinkles throughout the whole pot. Given all this it is marvellous ...

Pretty in pink!

Advantages: delicious, cheap, healthy, filling
Disadvantages: sugar, Aspartame

would not be ideal for children and their lunchboxes! Though, it does fill you up, which can prevent further snacking and help keep you trip! It's also a fantastic source of calcium! Ideally, if you know you enjoy the taste of rhubarb, then you will most likely enjoy this yoghurt! Of course, if you feel like trying something new, then I suggest this is the way to go! ***** The Rhubarb Müller Light is one of my favourite yoghurts, alongside the Müller Light Peach and Passionfruit, and Mandarin. I will certainly be buying this one again, and I honest don't think I will ever tire of its superb experience! © Amy 2008 *To find out more about Müller and their products, visit www.muller.co.uk. ...
