ASDA be smoothy
Review of Asda Smoothie Multi-Fruit Juice by lash69

Advantages: healthy & refreshing
Disadvantages: none

...than a real fruit smoothie. Asda banana & strawberry is utterly delicious and so refreshing. A 200ml glass equals 1 of your 5 a day. So many flavours to try with a good choice of fruit combinations that you might not think of trying but which taste delicious. Imagine buying your own fruit to make your own, well for the price of this product, you don't need too. Try the whole range, i think you will be pleasantly surprised. ... Read review

Pete and Johnnys -no mine
Review of Pete & Johnny peaches and banana smoothie by dynamode

Advantages: Just so smooth and full of flavour
Disadvantages: none

...strange name for a drink, Pete & Johnnys smoothie drink, but a lovely drink. My favourite is peaches and banana flavoured. Consists of 30% peaches and 30% bananas, pure apple juice, pure white grape juice, coconut milk and natural coconut flavour. Pleased I couldn't taste any coconut in it at all as I'm not really that fond of coconut. However I did taste peaches, bananas, bananas and peaches over and over again as it slipped down my throat. The ...
...and holds a litre. The label is dark green and whoever does the advertising on the label they have a great sense of humour, quirky. It states The P & J Mantra. When life is good you want to bottle it and take it home. That's the thought that got us started. We discovered that the secret of life began in a garden and that goodness doesn't end with the apple. The fruits of our labours are here for you. Drink and enjoy. And that's exactly what I did. ... Read review

A refreshing burst
Review of Ribena Cranberry & Blackcurrant by punt

Advantages: Great flavours
Disadvantages: nil

Ribena is an ever-evolving and innovative brand, and I think I have tried just about all of their range. My favourate has to be the cranberry and blackcurrant flavoured still drink, It is a 500ml bottle and costs around 99p. It's an uplifting and refreshing beverage, each mouthfull is full of fruity flavour. Combined with great flavours, ribena beverages have, healthy and nutritional values and ingredients. Ribena beverages are rich in vitamin ...
...didnt like drinking pure cranberry juice, so drinking ribena cranberry and blackcurrant fruit juice, is an easy way of incorporating cranberry into my diet, and its a great healthy addition to my lifestyle. Slurp!!
Review of Del Monte Blends: Apple, red grape and blueberry juice by Mel27

Advantages: Taste
Disadvantages: Price; lack of info on the ingredients list

This Del Monte juice is made from concentrated apple, red grape and blueberry juice and that's all there is in it. It costs around £1 for a litre carton, which is a bit pricey but it tastes delicious. I think Asda and Somerfield sell it but I'm sure other shops do as well. Sadly, the ingredients on the carton don't specify the ratio of fruit and nor was there any info about country of origin. The taste suggests that there is mainly apple and red ...
...It's very sweet and there is no horrible aftertaste. The colour of the juice is a rich red/purple colour and it looks as nice as it tastes. It's quite watery though and there are no "bits" in the bottom of the carton. The tall carton has pictures of the fruit on it. The plastic lid is joined in 3 places and it was quite tough to unscrew. Under the lid is a sort of plastic cover which doesn't come off. The juice still gets through the gap though. ... Read review

It Disney do it for me!
Review of Winnie the Pooh Roo Juice - Summerberry by Mel27

Advantages: Package is nice and it's 55% fruit juice
Disadvantages: Price, taste.

This is aimed at children, hence the Disney/Winnie The Pooh box and is made by the Coca-Cola company. However, the price is appalling. I've seen it at £1.29 for a 1 litre carton. I don't even expect to pay this for pure fruit juice. I only bought this because it was reduced to 19p in Asda, presumably as a way of getting rid of it. As for the taste, it may be 55% juice (apple and strawberry) but it's very weak. I've made stronger diluted juice myself! ...
...to children who don't want juice to taste strong but as it costs so much normally, it's not really worth it. It's available in multi-packs of 6 cartons which only contain 180ml of juice and are expensive at nearly £2. The cartons are worth about 10p each, in my opinion. Not too bad but could be better. I have a feeling we are paying for the design, rather than its contents. I wouldn't really recommend this juice, not at the full price anyway. ... Read review
