Canon Pixma MP140 - Best printer ever had
Advantages: Excellant Value for money. Disadvantages: None found as yet.
I got this product from Argos for the excellant price of £39.99. I was so impressed with the price I recommended it to 2 friends who also bought one and were very happy with the product. I print alot of things for my masters work and it has been excellant. The scan quality is also superb and it is so easy to do and download and email the copy's. On thing I found good was when you are printing a large document, it waits before printing the next page ...

Canon MP620 All in one Printer
Advantages: Excellent Phot prints, excellent scanning, wireless capability Disadvantages: Slightly bulky, wireless can be tricky to set up
...around and came across the Canon MP620. It seemed to have all the features I was after including scanning, printing, card reader, photocopyer and wireless networking. Please note there are 2 other similar models in the range and as far as I know the MP610 is older and not wireless but slightly cheaper. Alternatively the MP630, which is more expensive is also not wireless but is faster in producing more prints per minute.
So far, since using it I ... ...printer. Great quality prints and excellent scanning makes it perfect for my needs. The wireless networking took a little time to setup and you may struggle if you don't know your way around your firewalls. However, you may be lucky and have a techy friend who can help. This printer, which costs around £100 is definitely the best in it's price range in comparison to it's competitors by Epson and HP. I find the 5 ink cartridge system is good for keeping ...

Good printer for a reasonable price
Advantages: borderless printing, good ink consumption, also a scanner and copier Disadvantages: photo printing quality
I got the canon mp190 as a replacement for another canon printer that had proven very unreliable and the 190 is certainly a worthy replacement. The design is appealing, the printer also moonlights as a scanner and copier and ink consumption is reasonable. Borderless printing is an advantage that many other printers are not capable of. The software is easy to upload and simple to navigate. Print quality is very good for documents but could be better ... ...here even when on the optimum settings). The printer does not come with a USB cable but does need one for it to be used, so this is an essential extra purchase. There are two options for ink cartridges - low capacity and high capacity (40 and 41). I would have given this printer 5 stars but the photo printing quality dragged it down - if photo printing is important to you, I would suggest getting another printer but for every day use the mp190 is ...

Buy The Kodak ESP 5250 - Save Money & Get Great Photos
Advantages: Ultra Simple Set Up, Cheap Running Costs, Nice Looking Unit, Great Scanner Software Disadvantages: Noisy at start up
...was sceptical about buying a Kodak ESP as although the promise of extremely cheap printing is a big draw I had read a few horror stories but I decided to buy one after a bit more reading and I must say I’m really impressed. I wouldn't say I’m a heavy print user but I do print a few documents out for work every week and my partner prints photos quite often too. The easy set up and usage is something I haven't been use to with printers but the ESP ... ...loading and the software was installed and ready to go after 5 minutes. My partner is also tends to get into trouble with things like this as beyond Facebook she is a bit of a worry with these sorts of things but I can leave her, on her own to select and print photos and I haven't yet had to come and help her. The ink does seem to go very far and for £17 for a full refill of black and colour, that is nothing to grumble at. Best results do some with ...

HP C4180 All in One Printer & Scanner - Not Recommended
Advantages: Cheapish Disadvantages: Costs a fortune to run
Pros: Cheapish all in one printer & scanner.
Reasonably small & compact.
Cute little LCD dispay but so small you can't get much detail
Cons: Photo paper keeps jamming.
The photo paper tray has never allowed the paper feed to operate correctly first time.
Printer paper keeps going in 5 or more at a time & jamming.
Ink costs a fortune.
Paper goes in at an angle if not lined up perfectly.
Fiddly to operate.
If paper gets jammed you need to ...
