Reviews of Multifunction & Office Machines »
I think the Lexmark X4650 is an excellent piece of equipment.
Advantages: Light, easy to set up and use. Fast printing and easy to change ink cartridges. Disadvantages: None that I can find.
I recently purchased my Lexmark X4650 from Tesco. They were offering it at £59.95, which was reduced from £125. So that was an incredible saving.
The setup of the machine was very straighforward and simple and it was up and running within 10 minutes.
It seems to print much faster than my old Lexmark and the "wireless" connection means that it is tidier in my office as it only requires a supply cable.
It comes with a "Lexmark Productivity Studio" ...

Good printer for price but expensive to run
Advantages: cheap and good Disadvantages: cartridges cost lots
First things first, i do not own this model of printer, i own the X3580i but the only thing different is the colour so I'm going to review it. This is an all in one printer, which basically means it prints, scans and some other things ( this one also copy's) This printer has everything you need from a printer without taking up all the extra room. SCAN MODE : this mode lets you scan anything you want into the printer and you can then edit it and print ... ...you've printed. Copy mode: this allows you to put something into the scanner then copy it and print it out with out scanning it into the computer which is great for copying items. Photo card: this allows you to plug in your phone or memory card and print out from there which is good for making photo cards., like the name suggests. On the panel you will find the power button, scan, copy, photo card modes. settings, lighter/darker menu, left, right, ...

Buy The Kodak ESP 5250 - Save Money & Get Great Photos
Advantages: Ultra Simple Set Up, Cheap Running Costs, Nice Looking Unit, Great Scanner Software Disadvantages: Noisy at start up
...was sceptical about buying a Kodak ESP as although the promise of extremely cheap printing is a big draw I had read a few horror stories but I decided to buy one after a bit more reading and I must say I’m really impressed. I wouldn't say I’m a heavy print user but I do print a few documents out for work every week and my partner prints photos quite often too. The easy set up and usage is something I haven't been use to with printers but the ESP ... ...loading and the software was installed and ready to go after 5 minutes. My partner is also tends to get into trouble with things like this as beyond Facebook she is a bit of a worry with these sorts of things but I can leave her, on her own to select and print photos and I haven't yet had to come and help her. The ink does seem to go very far and for £17 for a full refill of black and colour, that is nothing to grumble at. Best results do some with ...

HP C4180 All in One Printer & Scanner - Not Recommended
Advantages: Cheapish Disadvantages: Costs a fortune to run
Pros: Cheapish all in one printer & scanner.
Reasonably small & compact.
Cute little LCD dispay but so small you can't get much detail
Cons: Photo paper keeps jamming.
The photo paper tray has never allowed the paper feed to operate correctly first time.
Printer paper keeps going in 5 or more at a time & jamming.
Ink costs a fortune.
Paper goes in at an angle if not lined up perfectly.
Fiddly to operate.
If paper gets jammed you need to ...

Canon Pixma MP190 Good value, decent Printer
Advantages: Very good price, good print quality Disadvantages: Does not come with USB cable to connect to computer.
I have just bought and finished installing this printer, so I have decided to share my views on it. I bought it at the local Tesco Extra, after some research I found that they offered it at the lowest price, at £30. I also got 10% as they only had the display one left in store. However, as I bought it in store I did not get free delivery and had to carry it the 2 miles home, something I wont recommend if your arms get tired easily. It comes in a ... ...rattle about in the box. You are provided with the Pixma MP190 printer, 2 ink cartridges (one black and one colour), setup CD-ROM, Printed documents and a power cord. You will need to buy a separate USB cable to connect the printer to your laptop or PC, something I found out to my annoyance after carrying it all the way home and excited to get started. However, you can get USB cables fairly cheaply, I got one locally at a pound store for 99 pence. ...
