Advantages: works quickly, and lasts for a very long time! Disadvantages: price, can dry your skin out unless you use a moistureser!

The exfoliating treatment should really be used as part of a three step treatement for best results, but boy does it give results! You could use the Murad one, however I find that any oil free moisturiser will do. Then I apply - as needed - the blemish cover gel directly on spots only as it is 4% sulphur and very strong indeed.
I would however not recommend this series unless you really do have a very oily skin and have real issues with acne, and not just the occasional spot.

I have tried pretty much every single acne treatment out there without success. When I came across the Murad Clear Skin starter box in Boots, I at first thought it was too expensive. But with the money back guarantee they were offering I thought I might as well give it a ago.
The exfoliating treatment should really be used as part of a three step treatement for best results, but boy does it give results! I was a bit weary at first as it says you may go through a purging process, however that did not happen to me. I have been using this system for only two weeks now and my skin have not looked this good, nor felt this good for about 10 years! I do still get the occasional spots and they have not cleared up completly - yet! But for the first time I am actually completly convinced that they will. It only keeps getting better and better.
I use the clarifying cleanser morning and evening, with the exfoliating treatment gel afterwards but evenings only as overusing it tends to dry out your skin too much. It is also very important that you use an oil FREE moisturiser after this step both morning and evening.
It is an expensive range, however it goes on and on like the duracel bunny! You can barely tell that I have been using this for 2 weeks now by looking at the bottles! At this rate this will easily last me two - three months which helps balance out the rather expensive price tag. The starter kit was £25.50 wheras I have never paid over £10 for any other product.
I found it as previously stated in Boots, but you may have to go a larger one of the Boots stores to find it. They do feature it online so you can also go to their webpage and order it there.
All in all I would recommend this whole heartedly to anyone with problem skin! Anyone in my situation will most likely agree when I say that even if the product had only lasted a month, with results like these the price is a small one to pay for the healthy looking skin I now have!
