Papaya Enzyme Peel

Advantages: smells amazing, skin feels fab after using, easy to use and pleasant feeling on skin
Disadvantages: none that I can think of

a 'use by' date: 6 months from opening. After this date, I believe the product loses some of its goodness. The product contains Papaya and Pineapple Enzymes, which do the 'exfoliating' part, and also Vitamin E and Bladderwrack Algae to condition and nourish. Usage Before using this product, having heard about it in magazines, I believed it to be one of the old fashioned face masks you used to have to peel from your skin. This is not the case. The 'peel' is not a peel as such. Instead of using beads, kernels or grains, it relies on active fruit enzymes, which eat away at the dead skin cells to reveal a brighter, smoother complexion. Upon reading the instructions, I realised that you simply apply the product to your skin, leave for 10/15 minutes and then wash off. The product is quite rich and creamy feeling, and smells amazing ...

Review of Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel

Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel

Advantages: Really works, smells gorgeous, smooth, soft, radiant skin
Disadvantages: Price

I was first introduced to Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel when I had a lovely Elemis facial in a spa. I purchased the cleanser and toner used in the facial but did not purchase the peel at the same time as it was quite expensive. Well the other day I felt like treating myself, so I brought it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What the product does ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The smooth cream peel contains an exotic cocktail of natural fruit enzymes from African Papaya and Far Eastern Pineapple that helps to gently exfoliate, purify and regenerate tired or sensitive skin. Extracts of Bladderwrack and Sunflower remineralise and condition, whilst Porphyridium and Vitamin E provide anti-oxidant and free-radical protection. Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel is a non-granular exfoliation cream that is used as a face mask. It contains seven active ingredients that ...

Witch Exfoliating Face Mask

Advantages: Great for spotty skin of all ages
Disadvantages: Product can clog around neck of tube

I picked up a tube of this when in my local Poundstretcher store. I thought at only £1 I'd give it a go as I get the occasional spot even thought I am in my 30's now and I have been looking for a good mask to try for a while now. It has a nice consistency and glides on really well, I found this to feel really nice on my skin when I applied it. I used it after a nice bath so my pores were open and the product could work better. I put on quite a thick layer of the product and then left it on for 20 minutes while my hair was deep conditioning. I found that it dried well and didn't go patchy like some face masks do. I hate it when they dry in certain areas and not others. This dried but didn't feel to tight on my skin as it was drying which was good. When I removed it my skin felt soft and smoother and it definitely looked a lot better ...
