Advantages funny, knowledge of the sport

Formula 1 without Murray Walker just wouldn't be the same, I have never yet heard a sports commentator who has such passion. His ability to remember statistics from 50 years ago is unbelievable especially when he gets the modern drivers names muddled up. But his "murrayisms" are what makes listening to him so enjoyable.

Recently he wasn't there because he injured himself driving his fathers old motorbike, it just wasn't the same. James Allen did a great job but Murray is a hard act to follow. The team of Murray and Martin Brundle is perfect, Murray with his passion and enthusiasm and Martin with his drivers know-how and expertise.

I know Murray is getting on a bit now but I hope he has many years left in the sport, when he finally retires he'll be sadly missed. Long live the king of F1 commentators!
