...This is a quality Item from Mustek, I purchased it a few weeks ago, and have enjoyed using it. It fits perfectly onto my car seat. This excellent portable dvd player has a wide variety of features, An excellent LCD Display 8.4" active matrix TFT (16:9), It supports the following Disc Formats: DVD, VCD, SVCD, CD, MP3, CD-R/RW, Kodak Picture CD, JPEG! It has a Tv tuner and a scan output. Supplied with are the mains and car adaptors, So you can run it in your home, or if your on the go and want to let your kids or whoever watch it then it just plugs straight into your cigarette lighter socket and your away. Advantages: Keeps the Kids Quiet on Journeys. Widescreen

...We were looking for one of these for a long time, and eventually found this on the internet. I checked out a few prices and reviews, after all, we had never heard of "Mustek", but this machine seemed to be highly thought of and well priced. We got it for £179.99, but I forget where from. The dvd player plays everything perfectly. Picture quality is great, and sound is just enough for its size. It comes with an adaptor to plug into the cigarette lighter, and a mains one too. The battery charges quickly, and lasts about 3 hours, plenty of time for a film to play. The best thing however is the fact that it is a widescreen dvd player. The screen is 7 inches wide, and if you think that most dvd's are produced in this format, it makes perfect sense. Some of the cheaper portable players are in 4:3 format. This was a godsend... ...I first came across Portable DVD players on a trip to Thailand and i was very tempted to get one however the cost didn't seem worth it. However i've been glads to see that the price of them in the UK have fallen dramatically so therefore i chose to snap one up. I chose the Mustek MP 70 D as it seemed like a good buy at just under £150 and it was a brand i was familiar with as they make scanners. The great thing about portable DVD players is that it can keep you occupied on a long trip.
