Thats all that out of the way. I purchased one of these not too long ago,I paid approx £100.00 give or take a couple of pounds.(I can't remember exact amount.) I purchased it from a well known internet auction site.
Anyway...................................
This camera is tiny-you can fit it in your pocket and take it everywhere. Whether you want to take still pics, store mp3's to listen too on your headphones, take video with sound or secretly record a conversation hahaha with the voice recorder you are spoilt for choice with what you can do.
I only have a 32 mb multi media card and although this can store 23 good quality -199 ok quality pics when memory is not being used elsewhere ie mp3/video,This size card will only record video around 4-5 mins at the most . I'm not fully experienced with all modes of the camera yet as I've not used it to play mp3's but everything else is so far very good for a camera of this size.
The camera on the whole is very very simple to use ,although the camera does not have a flash during the day taking pics outside come out pretty good and for indoors if you go to menu button(top left) you will see a little pic of a person and moon ,you need to select it, then when its on it makes your pics a bit lighter when you need too ie. theres not quite enough light to take the pic. Unfortunately on an over cast day pic quality can be a lot worse indoors then you'd get on a sunny day and sometimes this makes it impossible to take pictures that are of good enough quality to keep.
Although this is a jack of all trades and master of none - I think this is a cool little Gadget/Toy and is fun too use and I can't say I regret purchasing it as I use it all of the time.
sept 09 update Since writing this review all those years ago -technology has changed and prices for a camera like this have fallen -i'm thinking you could probably pick something like this up for about £30-£40 now days .Its not great though (thats if they are even still on the market) spend a little more for something decent!
