I bought two of these little camcorders for my bridesmaids this summer, and then I bought one for myself to take on my honeymoon.
It's the lightest little camera, fits easily into just about any sized handbag, and hides in corners well of any camera bag.
It is SOOOOOO easy to work, even a bloke could use it!
It has a tripod hole which is great when taking stills, especially given that it has a timer. The viewing window is a perfect size and it takes a scandisk memory card that are easy to find. It takes 3 aaa batteries, which you can easily charge or buy when you're out and about. I WOULD RECOMMEND HOWEVER, TAKING OUT ONE OF THE BATTERIES WHEN NOT USING IT AS IT CAN TURN ITSELF ON VERY EASILY WHEN PRESSED UP AGAINST ANYTHING.
It's got great sound quality, but the zoom isn't so hot, when you zoom it tends to lose the quality a bit and goes a bit shaky.
Basically, it's an ideal birthday or xmas gift that won't cost the earth and if it breaks in a year, who cares, you've had fun with it and you've no doubt uploaded all your amusing moments onto youtube to embarass yourself and others. Buy it - just don't buy it from Info-Tech-Systems. Go with 3 WISE MONKEYS
