Recommendable or not? To the scanning of pictures the Mustek 1200 USB plus in any case is recommendable. The colors are the image definition come very intensively and also the original very near. The Mustek scanner has weaknesses with the speed. Of the more active preview up to the finished scanned picture well times 1 minute can offense. Also text recognition with the OCR function fails with me in principle. Only over the detour over the FineReader good results are to be obtained.
For the domestic purposes the Mustek 1200 USB is recommended plus surely. Over and again few pictures an in scanning always serves he the purpose, since the image quality is very good and it easily to install and serve is.
Of me gibt's for the speed and bad text recognition a star departure, since I am very content otherwise with the Mustek 1200 USB pluses.
