I have to say as a *cough* 26 year old mum to one, I often find myself wanting something fun to do of my own. After being bought a DS from my partner, that came with Professor Layton, I longed for something younger. I came across this game in Argos, priced at £8.99 on sale. In my purse was a £5 discount card from a recent purchase so off I trotted to collect my game for £3.99. I have to say if I had paid the full £8.99 or a little more I would have been just as satisfied. The game features a village simulation with many characters waiting to give you errands to run. In the centre of the town is where the ''Festivals'' take place, they feature many mini-games, around 40, that require you to do all sorts. Theres flower arranging, air guitar, hang-gliding and many more. You use the stylus, control pad and even the blowing features of the DS to complete the mini-games. You have to race against time and beat 3 opponents in each game. The more festivals you win the more special features are unlocked during the game. The beauty of it is that you can log straight into the mini-games if you have a few spare minutes to pass. I would say that the suitable age for this game is around 12+ as any younger wouldnt really understand the missions set and the game wouldnt be played to its full potential.
An all round fun game. Easy to use, lots of vareity and mentally satisfying.
This game also features a fantastic multiplayer function that allows you to connect wirelessly using 2 DS consoles with just the one game. Here you can swap items such as power cards and clothes and can compete against eachother in the mini-games.

At less than 4 quid, it's a bargain. Rachael.
