My 10 Favourite Sweets

... My local market square does about 30 for 50p! I is for Ice pops I know they are not sweets in the true sense but I gave my first girlfriend a red one and so it deserves a mention. Ice Pops were purely frozen fruit juice in a plastic tube and cost about 1p to make and sold for 10p. ... Read review

My A-Z of sweets!

Advantages: Yummy
Disadvantages: Big tummy

...I have decided to list my A-Z of sweets for Halloween. With the increasing Americanization of this pagan holiday over here where you send your kids out to 'trick or treat', here are the sweets I would give them and some I would keep for myself. They can have the white wine gum, the Turkish Delight and the Cracknel from the Roses tin though without argument.

A is for Acid Drops

When you went around your nans on Sunday ...
...the Drifter bar in for my 'D' but the idea of flavouring a chocolate bar with coffee is disgusting and so deserves berating here!

E is for Eggs

Licking a Cadburys Cream egg is like licking out....a wooden spoon full of ice cream. You really have to get your tongue right in there to get the full pleasure and wiggle and swirl it around until you grown with pleasure. Sure, just as many people hate the eggs as people love ... more

If anyone can; the candy man can.

Advantages: yummy. yummy. yummy.
Disadvantages: BAD FOR YOUR TEETH.

...is that good or bad! My teeth say bad !) I think there is no more a beautiful sight than the inside of a sweet shop. Not silly newsagents and such; I mean the kind of sweet shop found in the film ‘Charlie and the Chocolate factory’; shops solely filled with sweets: With all the bright, beautiful colours and stunning wrappers, with all the imaginative and enticing, inviting sweets. Heaven! As luck would have it in my local lovely city; Chester City; ...
...in the co op near my parents. Why o Why! These are beautiful sweets, absolutely glorious, they should be sold in every shop that sells sweets! I recommend that each and every one of you scour the earth if needs be, to find and try ‘Apple Chewit Sticks’. 5. MARSHMALLOWS. ----------------------------- OOOOO I do love these; and what a versatile sweet they are! Stupendous as they are; Stupendous heated on a stick over a fire (don’t try this at home ...

The good old days ....

Advantages: Now we are adults we can eat as many as we like
Disadvantages:

This is my top 10 sweets I found this difficult as there are so many to choose from these days. Most of mine date back to when I was a child so get ready for a few blasts from the past. 10. Cadbury Milk Chocolate Mini Eggs ~ These are very popular around this time of year. They are small solid milk chocolate egg coated in a crispy sugar shell. They come in different colours with speckles on just like real eggs only these were laid by the Cadburys ...
...lime, I don't like lime! My favourite flavour was banana, the yellow bead! 8. Foam shrimps ~ I have added a picture of these so you know what I am talking about because they are quite hard to describe. They are pink in colour and shaped like a shrimp with a spongy texture. They come in raspberry flavour and taste delicious. I tried some a while ago but they seem to have changed them as they were not as foamy/ spongy as they used to be they were much ...

Top ten sugar induced hysteria

Advantages: Taste lovely
Disadvantages: Far too much sugar

...Other than chocolate, sweets are my favourite foodstuff. I eat far too much of the sweet stuff, until sometimes I feel quite ill. I’m sure my dentist loves it though! I am a dedicated chocolate lover, and my waistline can vouch for that! However, this review is about SWEETS and not chocolate. I think that there should be a whole separate category just for chocolate, so I haven’t added any in case Ciao ever enter this as a category (I’d enter it ...
...anyway!). So here are my top ten tooth decaying treats: 1 Strawberry fizzy lances or strawberry belts – these are definitely my all time favourite and are the most sweet, sickly and sour confectionery I know. I love them so much I have written a separate review on them. The belts (see picture below) are the most sour of the two and make you screw your face up in strange angles when this is eaten! The strawberry ones are definitely the best, but ...

SweetTooth by name, SweetTooth by nature.

Advantages: All my favourites
Disadvantages: Sugar, sugar, sugar, and more sugar.

...I tackled the subject of my top 10 sweets. Though I try not to eat too many, I am perhaps the sweetest tooth in the UK (hence the Ciao username), and I felt it was my duty to write a review on _My Top 10 Sweets_. It was never going to be easy, I changed my preferences every single week without fail, and probably in the next few weeks this review will have totoally changed, and I will be hooked on something else. But I decided, for the benefits of ...
...least 5 bon bons in my bag. I don't have a particular favorite, boyo no. I could eat any different ones. The first ones I ever tried were strawberry bon bons, you get different varietys of these. The first one being a toffee ball coated in a strawberry flavoured powder, and the second type is a chewy strawberry sweet, again covered in strawberry powder. Lemon bon bons are also delicious and as with the strawberry they come in the same varietys. A ...

Sweet memories!

Advantages: Remember some sweet treats and memories
Disadvantages: You may want to try my list out!

My top/favourite sweets, which I used to love as a child, but some you can't get hold of anymore, not even on the internet! I'm pretty sure I've got more than 10 top sweets, but these are the one I used to love and I wish I could still get hold of some of them now! 1) Cadbury Wispa - I was so happy when they re-introduced this a month or so ago. I love the feel of the bubbly aerated chocolate in my mouth and being cadburys it tastes absolutely divine. ...
...stall. These would always be my first choice. They are bright coloured straws which are filled with fruit flavoured candy powder. You could either pop open the end of the straw and pour the contents into your mouth or just simply chew the straw like I used to do. (www.aquarterof.co.uk) 5) Mars Midnight - I can't find these anywhere! They were a mars bar with a lighter nougat colour in the center and rather than milk chocolate the mars bar would ...

Review of All About Me

We have nothing to lose but our waistlines!

Advantages: It's all YUMMY
Disadvantages: It's probably bad for you!

Right, food - glorious food, as I believe that Oliver! once sang. I don't think I'd enjoy some of the combinations of food mentioned in the aforesaid, so I thought I'd come up with my very own top 10 food items. I decided to help me narrow down my choices I'd split all food into 10 categories and pick one item per category. That way, I get to have a runner up per category, rather than one at the end (clever, eh?). Anyway, without further ado, here are my top 10. 10: Sweets Possibly my favourite sweet ever is the humble white jazzy - white chocolate with hundreds and thousands on top. Usually only found in Woolies Pick and Mix as far as I know (or the one at the cinema, but have you seen the price of that one?!). There's something sweet and chocolatey yet crunchy and good about the whole experience. Honourable mentions ...

Up Close And Personal

Advantages: Getting to know me
Disadvantages: What you might find out

can be terrible but I've never been happier. 5/5 7 - Favourite colour? For clothes my favourite colour has to be black. I envy any mother who can wear bright or even light colours and keep them clean, I for one can never get through a day without having milk, food or paint on my clothes so black is the practical option. Colours in general? - has to be red. Vibrant and fiery just like me ;) 8 - Home County? East Yorkshire, born there, raised there and live there still. Like they say there's no place like home. 9 - Current Relationship Status? Married for the past eleven and a half years. 10 - Favourite food? I have a sweet tooth and can't resist chocolate, that's my big weakness. I also love chicken, steak and curry (not all together I might add) 11 - Been to Africa? No I haven't and I doubt I ever will. I?m sure it ...
