Advantages: Encourages your child to talk about things so you can preempt any fears or problems Disadvantages: personal thing - didn't deal with breast feeding.

This book is very useful if you have a toddler and are expecting number two (or beyond). I would recommend using it in the latter stages of pregnancy using Waiting for Baby in the earlier stages. It begins with hospital and then various things that are part of parcel of life with a newborn nappies, feeding and sleeping.
The older child in the book is depicted as being involved in these tasks, which is very important to make them feel included.
