PlayStation 2 version with little real use made of the Wii remote. This though is a complete reimagining of the whole The Sims concept made exclusively for Nintendo's consoles. The concept is largely the same as always as you take control of the lives of your own fictional family in what's a cross between a video game and an interactive version of Big Brother. The graphics have been completely revamped, moving away from the pseudo realism of the older games and using a much cuter, cartoon style that's somewhere between Playmobil and Animal Crossing (they're actually modelled after a Japanese toy line called Pinky Street). Naturally the game makes full use of the Wii's controls with the remote used to pick up, rotate and drop objects and buildings with refreshing ease, while the nunchuck is used simply to move around. This is all in the aid of making the game as customisable as possible, from the characters themselves to their homes and furniture. Previously The Sims games let you build your own house or swimming pool but here you can design your own fridge if you want or bed, sofa or any other item of furniture. This feeds into the concept of having to do up your house and turn your virtual ghost town into a thriving village full of oddball characters. With Animal Crossing still some way off this could be the next big casual game on the Wii. Harrison Dent

Advantages: Lots to do Disadvantages: Prefer the original Sims
...had to have it. My only dilemma was deciding which version, Nintendo Wii or DS? I was unsure how much they would differ, so I waited a few days and read some reviews. I finally decided on the DS game for two reasons: It was about £10 cheaper and the DS is actually mine, the Wii is my husbands console and this game really isn't his kind of thing! If you are looking for this in any shop, you definately can't miss it, the picture is bright and vibrant, showing cartoon characters in a variety of outfits whose heads are bigger than their bodies, quite unlike the original Sims. Okay, on to the game....
When you first start your game, you get to choose the features of your Sim. These include the gender, skin colour, eye shape & eye colour, hair style, colour and choice of ...

Sims 2 etc.. are deffinatly my fave ever games so naturally when the game came out i thought it would be great, know i am not too sure. see what you think..
At the beginning you design your character - gender, hair, skin, eyes, clothes - not a great selection but you collect more as you go along, hats, etc..
Then the real game begins,
you go on a boat and talk to the captain and he asks where you are a-going so you name your town.
On your way ... ...as you go along
My opinion is that it is VERY similar to animal crossings but simpler.
it is very easy to understand even though it gets repetatively boring.
i am young adult and the game is obviosly aimed at younger children.
i personaly love the graphics - the big bright coloured characters etc.. So overall a lovely game, fun colourful, easy to understand, but after a while it gets very repetetive and boring. ...

Advantages: Fun pocket adventures for kids & young adults Disadvantages: Not on the big screen
...laugh it has been playing My Sims for the last few days i thought i was going to be a flop like it has been on other NoN PC formates but i couldn't stop playing with the new features.
Its very easy to set up & get ready to explore all the new features as it is designed for 5 - young adults. You can even make your own patterns to make unique clothing and furniture items. You can even send your inspired creations to a friend using the Nintendo DS ... ...games like fishing, para gliding, and scuba diving to prospecting and racquetball. There are also many different areas like the mountain, forest, port, entertainment district, and more. Unlock more of the world as new characters visit and move in.
Great buy for up coming x-mas don't forget at some local shops there will have Freebies given away with the game e.g

MySims is a unique game for Nintendo DS which sets itself apart from previous "Sims" games.
Good points:
- Graphics are of a good standard
- Great storyline behind the game itself
- A great follow up from previous Sims titles.
Bad points
- There is limited time which restricts what can be done each "day" in My Sims
- The game is not very helpful for beginners / people who find it hard to catch onto a game properly
- Features such as furniture and rooms are almost identical to a previous Nintendo DS game, Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Overall, MySims is a fun game with exciting... more

This has to be the best of the Sims so far and I have all of them, I love the style of the peoople, big heads that make them seem cute. The controls are eay to use, which adds to any ganme enjoyment.
I cant stop playing this game, I got to name my own town and go around playing, meeting new people and doing nice deeds for residents of the town. For this you get money which allows you to buy clothes (great for girls) furniture for your house and items to make the town look good.
For instant I met a character and I did some fishing, I caught a barracuda...Wicked. In return the man paid me.
